Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Talk About Decision To Do Reality Show
Fans were really excited when they heard the news that Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell were going to have their own reality show on Freeform. Of course, with the idea of being on another show, fans had some concern that this could kill their relationship. E! Online got the chance to talk to Lauren and Ben and get the scoop on what they are thinking about their new reality show.
Us Magazine shared the details of their reality show just yesterday. There had been rumors that they might decide to do their own show, but nobody really knew what the plan was going to be. Ben explained that since they were on The Bachelor, their lives are very public anyway. Deciding to do a reality show didn’t mean that they made the choice to go public because they were already doing that anyway.

Lauren said that the idea of a reality show was brought to them a few months ago. At the time, Ben and Lauren were not up for the idea of doing it because they had just started life together after The Bachelor. Lauren explained that they always want their relationship to come first and they will keep it that way. If the reality show gets in the way, then they will not be doing it anymore.
Everyone wants to know exactly what they will get to see on Ben and Lauren’s reality show and Lauren did share a few details.
“Definitely some wedding planning. It actually hasn’t started. [Laughs.] So hopefully everyone will get to see it from the very beginning. Now that life has slowed down quite a bit, that’s on our to-do list, to really sit down and start planning. With that comes setting the date and a location and all the details, and I think it will be fun to spend time doing that, to have that be on the show and to have people follow that. Then of course I don’t think either of us are opposing to having our wedding shown and I think it would make sense to show some of the planning that’s going to be happening and hopefully let everyone see our wedding.”
They also got the chance to talk to Ben Higgins about running for Colorado’s House of Representatives. At this time, Ben is still not sure if he will be running or not.
“The current person that’s running would have to drop out after the primary, and that still has to happen. Until it happens, I can’t really say it’s going to happen or not.” Ben revealed that the issue he cares the most about and would want to fight for is education.
Lauren Bushnell also shared that she is considering changing careers because her career before as a flight attendant is such a public one, which would be hard for her to do now. Lauren loves Denver and is doing some blogging right now. Lauren has also been redecorating Ben’s house to make it their home and not just Ben’s house.

One big spoiler that Lauren shared is that they do have friends from The Bachelor that they hang out with and some of them will be on the show from time to time. It will be great to get to catch up with them once again.
