Kylie Jenner Has The Blues, Drops Two New Lip Kit Shades
Kylie Jenner’s new lip kit shades will either give you summertime sadness or have you feeling patriotic for the Fourth of July. The aspiring 18-year-old beauty entrepreneur has rolled out two new lip kit shades that are guaranteed to sell out.
Or, maybe not. Kylie Jenner’s net worth has been on the rise thanks to her ever-popular lip kits. Every time the starlet releases a new lip kit shade or restocks her original shades, they sell out within minutes. To go with her freshly painted blue Ferrari, Jenner has teased two new blue shades.
On Monday, June 29, the reality star took to Snapchat to share a photo of her wearing a navy blue shade called Freedom.
Then, Kylie followed up with another photo of herself wearing a neon blue matte lipstick appropriately named Skylie. However, she didn’t follow up with any details other than the fact that both shades are set for release this Friday.
The two new lip kit shades are being in released just in time for the Fourth of July, tropical beach vacations, and summer pool parties. But not all of all Kylie’s fans are happy with the new shades. While Freedom looks somewhat vampy and Gothic like her KyMajesty lip kit, the neon blue hue may not look good on everyone. Plus, not everyone is comfortable enough to walk around in bright blue lipstick like Kylie clearly is.
The controversial new hue, Skylie, is inspired by Jenner’s vehicle, the same one gifted to her by ex-boyfriend Tyga.
“My car gave me a little inspo for this exclusive Fourth of July color that I love so much,” the beauty maiden is heard saying in one of her many Snapchat clips, as she teases the lip kits for her adoring fans.
She even called the new colors her “new children” as she compared the packaging and shades.
These aren’t the only colors that have fans shying away from her lip kits. Earlier this month, Kylie released KyMajesty and Dead of Knight, both of which are black matte glosses, although KyMajesty has a metallic finish. Fans have told Kylie that they are not sure if they find her new shades particularly flattering for their darker skin tones.

But if you’re willing to embrace your patriotic side, you may want to try out these new shades. According to People, Kylie’s Mary Jo hue is the perfect red shade you can pair with Skylie and Freedom if you want to go all out in red, white, and blue this Fourth of July.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the popular Jenner teen has any white metallic or matte lipsticks you could wear. Not even her popular lip gloss line has clear or white shades.
Kylie Jenner has been busy restocking her popular lip kits every week. Instead of selling out within minutes, they have been available for at least a few hours at a time. Those who want her latest goth shades may not be able to score a black lip kit because Kylie announced that her next restock for KyMajesty and Dead of Knight won’t be for a while, according to Seventeen.
Understandably, her fans were also upset over this latest piece of news.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians recently stripped down to a steamy new photo shoot for the black shades. She was photographed braless in a wet white tank top and black corseted underwear. In a SFW photo, Jenner shared a close-up of herself wearing KyMajesty and a sparkly diamond choker.
It’s any wonder if Kylie will pull out a patriotic bikini to promote her new shades. It’s not unlike Kylie to share some sizzling bikini photos of herself.
