Did Taylor Swift Dupe Calvin Harris?

Weeks after the highly publicized breakup of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, photos of the “Shake It Off” singer getting very cozy with Tom Hiddleston emerged last Wednesday. Now, new accounts hint that the songstress cheated on the Scottish DJ.

According to an article from TMZ, the “Blame” hitmaker was already suspicious of his ex-girlfriend’s loyalty even before their breakup. Reportedly, his doubts happened early last May or a month before their split.

With the cozy photos of his ex and her new man out in the open, the news site shared that Calvin Harris is “pissed and feels betrayed by her.” TMZ caught up with the DJ on Thursday, but he was mum about the situation.

Internet went abuzz after The Sun published photos of Taylor Swift, 26, and Tom Hiddleston, 35, on a low-key yet romantic outing. The pair were seen engaging in a lip lock at one point as they were looking over the Atlantic Ocean.

In another snap, they were also spotted taking a selfie, Us Weekly added.

An insider of The Sun revealed that the rumored new couple seemed not to mind the 20 other people “coming and going on the beach” as they hugged and kissed. The insider added that the pair were acting like “any young couple madly in love without a care in the world.”

The sighting, unfortunately, happened just two weeks after Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris publicly announced their split. At the time, reports claimed that it was the DJ who ended their relationship of more than a year.

A source of Us Weekly even said then that, while the singer was upset with the split, she was “doing OK.”

Before the said outing, though, the “Bad Blood” singer and the soon-to-be James Bond were spotted having a lovely time at the 2016 Met Gala last May 2. They had a dance-off during the occasion and were together for an after-party event held at the Boom Boom Boom.

Calvin Harris deleted all traces of Taylor Swift on his social media accounts hours after the now infamous photos were published, CNN noted. The DJ also unfollowed his ex on Twitter, but she is still following him.

Calvin Harris managed to tweet, “Oh boy it’s about to go down,” as well. However, he deleted that soon after it was posted. Nevertheless, the message did not go unnoticed, with people speculating that the message was all about Taylor Swift.

He also deleted a tweet he had posted explaining their breakup. He wrote back then, “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end and what remains is a tremendous amount of love and respect.”

The message was reposted by Taylor Swift right after it was made public, but she has since deleted it as well.

However, The Guardian is somewhat questioning of whether the photos of Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are real or staged. The news site shared that the photos do not appear to be “authentic paparazzi work,” as “they lack that hallmark sense of furtive intrusion.”

It also noted that the pictures looked like it was a “staged” photoshoot with “PR consultants and fashion stylists” part of the team, rather than a random shot of a lucky paparazzi who was able to capture the rumored couple’s moment.

To date, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s representatives have yet to issue a statement regarding their supposed involvement.
