Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Are Official: Couple’s Relationship Goes Public

Are Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes a couple? This question has been blogged about since at least 2013. While Holmes and Foxx’s respective reps have denied the pair is anything other than friends, we finally have a confirmation that their relationship is not completely fabricated and that they are, in fact, dating.

According to E! Online, the news about Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes’ relationship was confirmed via an unlikely source in a very unexpected way. Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Claudia Jordan appeared on the Allegedly podcast. What does Jordan have to do with Jamie and Katie? Apparently, Jordan is good friends with Jamie Foxx.

When she was asked about her good friend Jamie Foxx, she let the cat out of the bag about his relationship with Katie Holmes.

“[He’s a] good friend of mine. Never [hooked up with him].”

She was then asked about his relationship status with Holmes and said, “He is very happy with her. I like that he seems very happy.”

This goes against everything the power couple’s reps led us to believe. As the Inquisitr reported, over the years, the news item of Jamie and Katie being a secret couple has stuck, and despite denying the reports, neither star has been able to shake this rumor. Now we know why.

That said, we’re sure that some of the bits of information that have circulated about this celebrity union are indeed fake.

The latest denial happened back in May, when reports stated that Holmes was pregnant with the actor’s child. OK! Magazine ran the story, which Holmes’ publicist later called “categorically untrue.” As it turns out, we’ve seen proof that this story was a fabrication due to set photos of Holmes walking around while shooting The Kennedys: After Camelot TV miniseries.

Prior to that, there was a rumor that the couple were thinking about getting hitched, but those plans were derailed due to the baby that Holmes was supposedly carrying.

The source told OK! Magazine at the time, “It’s understandable Katie would start to feel insecure about the relationship, and she definitely wouldn’t want to raise another child on her own, as she’s been forced to do with Suri since she left Tom [Cruise].”

The rumors got to be so much that even Jamie Foxx himself tried to throw a wrench in the whole thing by denying the story that he was dating Katie Holmes.

He told Dish Nation, “I’m not the person who wants to be defined by anybody I date. Even if I was dating someone, no one would know anyway, but it affects my situation because I got a girl, who’s like ‘yo, who’s this b****?’.”

The latest update on the saga came in March of 2016 via People Magazine, which claimed that there was truth to the rumors but it wasn’t anything serious.

A source close to the couple told the magazine, “This is not some intense romance. Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment.”

Now that it’s official Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are dating, the real question is if they will make their first public appearance together, or if they will ever talk about their relationship publicly. There’s no telling where this confirmation will take this couple, but we know one thing: Everyone seems to have an opinion about this Hollywood romance.
