New Netflix July Movies, TV, And Originals Full List: Tony Robbins, ‘Lethal Weapon,’ ‘Marco Polo Season 2,’ Plus New Logo

The full list of new Netflix movie, TV, and original programming releases for July of 2016 is loaded with popular Hollywood hits as well as Netflix fan-favorite series. The latest offerings are led off by a top-heavy release day on July 1 that includes all four films in the 1980s and 1990s blockbuster Lethal Weapon franchise and the entire trilogy of the 1980s classic Back to the Future films.

Later in the month, on July 15, Netflix unleashes an original documentary starring perhaps the leading figure in the personal self-improvement movement, motivational speaker Tony Robbins.

Although the documentary was directed by Joe Berlinger, best known for such hard-hitting true crime docs as Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills and Whitey, about murderous organized crime boss James “Whitey” Bulger, in Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru, Berlinger sets aside his investigative scalpel.

Instead, because Berlinger himself has reportedly been heavily influenced by Robbins. The film is a two-hour ode to the motivational methods used by Robbins, taken from of a weekend-long seminar given by Robbins in Boca Raton, Florida.

Other Netflix originals in July include Season 2 of the exotic period adventure drama Marco Polo and the Netflix original film Tallulah, a Sundance Film Festival hit starring Ellen Page as a babysitter who passes a child off as her own to shield her from a neglectful, wealthy mother.

Netflix also has another surprise for July — a new, flashier logo that will be seen on the streaming services’ app.
