Selma Blair Appeared Content And Happy Just Before Shocking Plane Outburst
Selma Blair had recently enjoyed a wonderful trip away with her son, Arthur, and her ex, Jason Bleick, for a Father’s Day surprise. The 43-year-old got cozy with Bleick while vacationing in Riviera Maya and broke away to the spa on occasions for some R&R. Sources share that the family enjoyed meeting the various wildlife in the locale and spotted Selma and Arthur engaging with some monkeys and toucans.
All appeared well for the actress and her loved ones.
A source explained, “Arthur was so happy to spend the weekend with his family, giving his mom lots of hugs and kisses on their beach getaway. She was happy and healthy the entire trip.”

The fabulous trip, however, took a bizarre turn and ended on a very bad note due to a supposed prescription drug- and alcohol-induced outburst by Selma Blair while on their way home from Mexico.
An official who was on the scene when Blair’s plane landed at LAX shares that paramedics met the star at the plane and “removed her from the aircraft on a stretcher after witnesses reported to TMZ that she started to cry during the flight, as she spoke about fears regarding an unnamed male after allegedly mixing wine and medication.”
People relays the strange statements Blair made while seemingly under the heavy influence of drugs and alcohol during the flight.
“He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink,” she reportedly stated. “He beats me. He’s going to kill me.”
Additionally, the source confirmed that it seemed “she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol.” However, it was unclear “what sort of prescription medications” caused her unusual behavior.

As it stands, the rep for Blair has yet to respond to questions about the event. Blair has been very active as a film and television star for decades now. The Telegraph reminds about the star’s performances over the years that saw her onscreen right up until recent months.
“The actress was most recently seen in the TV series The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story in which she played Kris Jenner. She also starred alongside Susan Sarandon, Sharon Stone and Courteney Cox in the film, Mothers and Daughters.”
The raven-haired talent was also in a number of films back in the 90’s, including Cruel Intentions and, more recently, Anger Management. Blair is, therefore, a very versatile actress and has remained relevant on the scene for years. It is unknown as to whether a drug or alcohol addiction has been something the star has grappled with.
Additional sources share that although she and Bleick had experienced a rough patch, the two seem to have gotten closer once again. Blair has posted a number of heartwarming pictures to her social media account to demonstrate her appreciation and love for Bleick, one of which included an April post of Blair while pregnant with Arthur. The post was a tribute to Jason on his birthday. The Daily Mail shares the words written beneath the snap.
“Happy birthday @jasonbleick. This picture, taken just a few months into my pregnancy, and we were so much in love Thank you for the sweetest memories of that time and for our son, that unconditional love. Happy birthday dad.”
Although the star looked as though she was enjoying her trip with Jason and her 4-year-old son, the publication shares that she did look quite tired and as if she was even in pain.
