Kailyn Lowry Divorce Update: Could The ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Work It Out With Javi Marroquin?

Kailyn Lowry has been dealt a hard hand over the last year. From suffering a miscarriage to her marriage crumbling at her feet, many of the issues have severely impacted her family life.

Lowry and Javi Marroquin have had a tumultuous relationship since the beginning, and control issues have been an ongoing problem. Marriage seemed to amplify things among them, and when they welcomed their son, Lincoln, it was intense. After several months of denying rumors of a divorce, Kailyn Lowry finally confirmed that divorce was being discussed.

Last night, Teen Mom 2 showed the reunion special where Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin talked to Dr. Drew. It was taped less than two months ago, and fans were able to see the dynamic between the couple despite them being in separate countries. According to Us Weekly, Kailyn Lowry is adamant about the divorce while Javi Marroquin still wants his marriage to work. Lowry’s oldest son, Isaac, is incredibly close to his stepfather, and if they split, it could really affect him. For now, the couple plans to at least live apart when Marroquin returns from Qatar.

The news of Kailyn Lowry’s marriage being over wasn’t shocking to fans who have followed the couple since the beginning. Teen Mom 2 has aired several of their issues, including some pretty serious fights over Lowry going out with friends.

While Javi Marroquin has been improving, it was clear the miscarriage put him over the edge. Lowry felt like they each dealt with it alone, and Marroquin admitted blaming her for it in the beginning but has since apologized. There has been a lot of damage done in a small amount of time, and a separation may be best for the couple when the deployment is over.

Rumors have been circulating about both Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin cheating on one another. Reports emerged that there was someone he had found while in Qatar, with photographs of him and another woman surfacing on social media. Lowry’s ex-boyfriend stated that the two saw one another when she was filming the Teen Mom 2 reunion. She denies seeing him completely, but he refuses to back down on his claim.

On top of the cheating rumors, there have also been some revelations about Lowry that have stunned viewers. She was allegedly in two relationships with women at different points. One happened before she settled down with Jo Rivera and had Isaac, and the other happened at some other point in her life. Lowry is writing a tell-all book, which is reportedly going to address these relationships.

Watching Kailyn Lowry react to what Javi Marroquin was saying on the Teen Mom 2 reunion special has given hope to fans who want them to work out their issues. Right now, Lowry is set on a divorce, but she seemed to soften up when Marroquin admitted that was not what he truly wanted. Having more kids is a big deal for him, and Lowry isn’t ready to have a third child. She raised the point that bringing another child into the mix right now wouldn’t help anything, and if they waited, she may not want to start over again.

When Javi Marroquin returns from Qatar, where he stands with Kailyn Lowry will be evaluated. The two need to have some serious conversations in person and decide whether or not they can salvage the remaining parts of their marriage. If they decide to part ways, Marroquin wants Kailyn Lowry to still allow him to see and spend time with Isaac, which she will hopefully allow for the sake of both parties. Fans hope Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin can work it out, but if they can’t, raising Lincoln together amicably is the only way to go.
