‘Star Wars Episode VIII’ Plot Leaks Reveal Secrets Behind Luke Skywalker’s Light Saber, Who Is Rey? [Spoilers]
As Star Wars Episode VIII continues production, additional leaks are slowly revealing the plot for the latest installment in the new trilogy. With Star Wars: The Force Awakens breaking movie records around the world, fans are eager for the next installment of the movie.
The Independent reported that since filming began this year, numerous leaks regarding Star Wars Episode VIII have appeared online. Some of the leaks speculate on who Rey’s parents are as well as how Luke Skywalker will confront Kylo Ren, who is really his nephew, Ben Solo.
The latest rumor speculates on how the Jedi order came to be. In the leaked scene, Luke shows Rey how the Jedi order started.

A young brother and sister are playing under a tree. The boy is deeply affected by the tree, which makes him angry. He and his sister argue, and then he kills her. The tree keeps the girl alive, and she starts the Jedi order to stop the future Sith. They have derived their power from the mysterious tree.
The girl in the vision also reveals to Rey that there is “The One,” a reincarnation of the girl who appears in either male or female form. Originally, the Jedi Order thought that Anakin Skywalker was the reincarnation, but they were wrong. Now they realized they were deceived because Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader, and it leads to the Clone Wars.

Although it is believed that Rey is the reincarnation, she is probably not Luke Skywalker’s daughter, nor is she related to any of the major characters in the story. Rey just happens to be strong with the Force.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the leaks that have been released so far hint at the return of the Sith. Great Britain’s princes, William and Harry, visited the set of Star Wars Episode VIII and dressed up as Storm Troopers. Unless the scene is cut from the movie, the princes will appear in Star Wars Episode VIII, but it won’t be obvious that who they are because they are wearing helmets.

iDigital Times reported that in the latest leak, Luke Skywalker revealed to Rey the lightsaber crystals. In the scene from the video, it shows Luke drawing the lightsaber from Rey and closing his eyes as the lightsabers dismantle to show the crystals. One is green and the other is blue. Jedis generally used green or blue crystals, which were natural, while the Sith used red synthetic crystals to create their weapons. The crystals themselves were imbued with the Force, which the individual Jedi or Sith imbued into the crystals.
The leak actually came from a YouTube user named Mike Zeroh, who said he received the information from someone he said accurately tipped him off about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There has been no word yet from the studio as to whether the information released to Zeroh is true.
The Daily Mail reported that Star Wars fan Mike Zeroh released the leaks in an email from a source. In a previously released leaked script, it appeared that Luke shared the details with Rey about how the Jedi Order came about. Although the script showed that Luke was not Rey’s father, it didn’t say who her parents were, and her importance to the story line is that she was born to be “The One.”
Star Wars Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
