Tamra Judge was shocked to learn that Vicki Gunvalson may have had her suspicions when it came to Brooks Ayers’ illness. During the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special last year, Vicki admitted to fabricating some stories about Brooks to protect him. Maybe things weren’t adding up for her and she felt the need to fill the gaps completely so that his story would be coherent. Tamra was shocked, especially because she thought for sure that her co-star had been duped.
According to a new Bravo report, Tamra Judge is now speaking out about the very first episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. While Judge has plenty of things to say about her fitness competition and her health, fans are wondering if she’s close friends with Vicki Gunvalson. The two were cordial at the reunion special, but during the Real Housewives of Orange County last night, it was revealed that none of the ladies had talked to Gunvalson since the show ended.
“The past two years had been full of heartache and challenges. I really leaned on my faith to get me through…pretty much everything,” Tamra explains, revealing that she hasn’t talked to Gunvalson since last year, as she felt betrayed by her friend.
During the Real Housewives of Orange County episode last night, Judge told the cameras in a confessional interview that there is no way that Vicki didn’t know that Brooks was lying about having cancer. Last year, Gunvalson revealed that she had organized the cancer binder that Brooks was carrying around with him, but during the reunion special, Gunvalson revealed that she had fabricated the story a bit. Rather than organizing the binder, she had just seen it once or twice.
To get all of the ladies together, Heather Dubrow decided to have a party. She was questioning whether it would be a good thing to invite Vicki. While Tamra Judge did share that Shannon Beador would be upset to learn about the invitation to Gunvalson, Judge didn’t really focus on her reunion with her former friend in her blog.
“Does Heather know how to throw a party or what? Everything was…gorgeous! When she told me that she was inviting Vicki I was a little worried how that would turn out. I had texted with Vicki a few times but had not seen her in months. Things were very awkward!” Tamra Judge revealed about the party, adding later about Heather’s party:
“Heather had not shared Terry’s health scare with me or anyone. Things like that really put life in perspective. Her speech was heartfelt and really made you think about what’s important in life. So happy Terry’s test was a ‘false-positive.’ I have to say David’s joke made me laugh.”
And rather than looking back on the past, Tamra Judge decided to look forward to the future. In her blog, Tamra decided to talk about the new housewife who was brought onto the show by Meghan King Edmonds. Kelly Dodd is outspoken and confident, and of course, Judge took notice.
“Kelly walked in full of confidence and tequila. It was one joke after another. I thought, wow this girl is funny, yet insulting. I wasn’t sure what to think? Either we are going to the best of friends or the worst of friends. Stay tuned!” Tamra Judge ends her blog, hinting that things will be interesting with this new housewife on the show.
Plus, it will be interesting to see if Tamra will lose her cool with her former friend throughout this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
