Evan Bass Joins ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Cast, Reunites With Chad Johnson: Trouble In ‘Paradise’ For Former ‘Bachelorette’ Contestant?

Bachelorette contestant Evan Bass didn’t find love with JoJo so, instead of going back to work as an Erectile Dysfunction Specialist, the 33-year-old single father made a beeline for Bachelor in Paradise, where he will come face-to-face with the guy who ripped his shirt — Chad Johnson.

Fans may be thinking, “this won’t end well,” but if it’s any consolation to the sometimes whiny Evan, he will be surrounded by some of the other dudes JoJo rejected throughout her season. Even more encouraging is the fact that most guys tend to go shirtless in Paradise, so the risk of Evan losing another shirt to the Chad Bear will be slightly diminished.

However, there’s even better news for Evan when it comes to his beachfront meet-up with Chad. Read on for the latest on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, and if you need a reminder about the Evan vs. Chad scene from the Bachelorette, check out the video below.

After his final exit from the Bachelorette on Monday night, ABC announced during a commercial break that Chad Johnson is heading to Paradise, something just about every fan already knew would happen.

There’s good news for Evan, though. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Chad doesn’t last very long in Paradise — host Chris Harrison sent him home after just one day of filming.

Unfortunately, he’s still trying to suck up his three minutes of fame. On Sunday, Chad revealed that he has been getting cozy with Bachelorette contestant Robby Hayes’ ex-girlfriend, Hope Higgenbotham, and on Monday night he made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Watch the video below to see what Chad has to say about his time on the Bachelorette and his relationship with Hope.

As for Evan, blogger Reality Steve states that he is one of 16 former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars who will appear on the Bachelor in Paradise premiere that airs August 2, with an additional nine contestants showing up throughout the six-week season.

Although ABC hasn’t formally announced Evan as a cast member, Steve expects that announcement, along with the addition of newly eliminated Grant Kemp, to happen this week. Also on the list of men who are part of the Paradise cast are Daniel Maguire, Vinny Ventiera, Jared Haibon, Nick Viall, Josh Murray, Christian Bishop, and Wells Adams. And, of course, Chad Johnson.

Will Evan find love on Bachelor in Paradise despite having to briefly share some beachfront accommodations with Chad Johnson? Filming started two weeks ago, and Evan has not surfaced on social media yet — perhaps he is part of one of the couples the show’s creator, Mike Fleiss, has been tweeting about.

Evan will be introduced to nine ladies on the Bachelor in Paradise premiere including Amanda Stanton, Leah Block, Sarah Herron, twins Haley and Emily Ferguson, Lace Morris, Jubilee Sharpe, Izzy Goodkind, and Carly Waddell.

Leah Block (Ben Higgins’ season) was spotted with contestant Nick Viall early in the taping process, but she recently returned to social media, so fans can count her out as one of Evan’s potential love-interests.

According to Bustle, Evan is a single dad of three boys, so perhaps he will make a play for single mom Amanda Stanton. However, she’s being pegged as “one of the most beautiful women” cast for the show, so he may have to wait in line.

Reality Steve expects Caila Quinn Jen Saviano, Ashley Iaconetti, and at least one other former Bachelor contestant to show up throughout the season, so perhaps Evan will find a connection there, although Ashley will obviously have her heart set (again) on Jared Haibon.
