‘Southern Charm’ Kathryn Dennis Shares A Post About ‘Continuing Drama’ Ahead Of Season 3 Finale

Is Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis over the drama? It sure seems that way.

On June 18, the reality star and mother of two took to Instagram where she shared a quote titled, “Continuing Drama.”

“Death spares us not challenge, gains release from no reluctant duty, stern indenture; There’s neither flight nor conquest decease; To die is not ‘an awfully big adventure.’ Death has no terror, is not preordained: It is a fraud, a specious counterfeit, a play-within-a-play, and doubly feigned: We do not see it through: we see through it.”

The quote posted by Kathryn Dennis on Instagram was written by James M. Barrie, who is best remembered as the creator of Peter Pan.

Kathryn Dennis has dealt with her fair share of drama on Southern Charm Season 3, namely due to her relationship with Thomas Ravenel, the father of her children, Kensington, 2, and St. Julien, 7 months, and her alleged relationship with Whitney Sudler-Smith.

At the end of Season 1, Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel hit it off and quickly and, Dennis became pregnant. However, their relationship was highly dramatic and as time continued, they engaged in a number of breakups and makeups. Then, ahead of filming on Season 3, Kathryn Dennis became pregnant with their second child, who arrived last November.

While Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel attempted to make their romance work, they parted ways for good months ago, and during an interview with The Daily Dish in April, Dennis admitted it was a long time coming. She also told the outlet that she was having an extremely hard time as she attempted to co-parent Kensington and St. Julien with Ravenel.

“I think what really motivated it was that I had Julien in November, and I had hoped that having two children, something would fall into place somehow, magically,” Kathryn Dennis said at the time. “[Thomas] was talking about marriage in the hospital. He really wanted to make it work. And then he just flipped a switch, changed, and I don’t know. I kind of was just realizing my kids were more important than the way I feel about him romantically.”

Kathryn Dennis went on to reveal her former boyfriend was “very troubled” and slammed him for holding her back in life.

“Thomas is very troubled, so he’s a lot to handle. Whenever I was with him, it was always constantly placating him, constantly being his therapist. I gave everything to him, literally. I devoted myself completely to him, whether or not people believe that I loved him genuinely or not, I truly did, and I will stand by that until I die,” Kathryn Dennis said. “In that same period, I forgot what I loved to do, what I think. I had to kind of always conform just so he wouldn’t have an outburst. I lost myself. I stopped painting, I stopped modeling, I stopped caring. Now that I’m not with him, I’m realizing things I love again.”

While Kathryn Dennis painted Ravenel as a questionable parent just months ago, it was she who failed a drug test during a court appearance earlier this month regarding the custody of her children. As All About The Tea revealed last week, Kathryn Dennis tested positive for cocaine and marijuana while Ravenel was totally clean.
