Calvin Harris To Collaborate With Kanye West On Taylor Swift Break-Up Song?

Calvin Harris may now be looking to team up with Kanye West on what could be one pretty scathing breakup anthem about his past relationship with Taylor Swift.

According to a new report by the Sun, Calvin is busy writing a new breakup song about his failed romance with Taylor, who Harris split with after 15 months together late last month, and is allegedly contemplating asking Swift’s infamous nemesis, Kanye West, to feature.

The site claimed that Harris isn’t interested in airing his dirty laundry when it comes to his former romance with Swift in interviews, but feels that putting his feelings about their split into song could be a better way to go.

“Calvin feels that talking publicly is not the way to go, but expressing things in music is the better option,” a source close to Harris told the site this week, revealing that Calvin has already begun writing new music since splitting with Taylor around three weeks ago.

“[Calvin’s] currently working on some new music and has been milling over some tunes about heartbreak, deceit and lost love,” the insider told the site, hinting that Harris could be ready to hit the studio with Kanye West now that his romance with Taylor has come to an end.

Allegedly, “Kanye is up for doing something with Calvin and Rihanna,” who most recently collaborated on the dance track “This Is What You Came For,” and “now Calvin’s no longer with Taylor anything is possible.”

Calvin Harris and Kanye West are yet to speak out regarding the rumors that they could be looking to collaborate on a song about Calvin’s breakup with Taylor, though this isn’t the first time Calvin and Kanye’s names have been thrown together in the wake of Swift and Harris’s recent breakup.

The Sun previously reported this month that Harris appeared to be making a subtle dig at Swift after Calvin was spotted out in Los Angeles wearing Yeezy sneakers, which is West’s brand of footwear, shortly after Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, put his former girlfriend on serious blast in a seriously candid interview with GQ magazine.

Though Calvin’s choice of shoe could have been perfectly innocent, fans speculated that Harris’s decision to sport Yeezy sneakers appeared to be a pretty seriously slam after Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, made headlines by throwing his pair of Kanye’s footwear in the trash after the rapper first debuted “Famous,” in which Kanye refers to Taylor as a “b****,” earlier this year.

As previously reported by the Daily Mail, before Harris and Taylor’s breakup, Austin took to social media to post a video of himself throwing the sneakers, which retail for close to $1,000, in the trash after Kanye rapped in the controversial track, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**** famous.”

The site claimed that Austin filmed himself getting rid of the seriously expensive shoes in a video he uploaded to social media alongside the caption, “Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.”

Taylor Swift and Kanye West have had a long history of drama, which first began long before Harris and Swift began dating and ultimately split, after West infamously stormed the stage during Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye and the popstar then appeared to bury the hatchet following the drama, but began feuding once again following the release of “Famous” after Taylor claimed she did not approve the song, despite both West and Kim Kardashian stating otherwise.
