Brandi Redmond Getting A Divorce? Her Husband Wanted A Divorce After ‘RHOD’

Brandi Redmond went on the reunion with no plans of going through all of the drama that the ladies had been through already on this first season of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Redmond had been dealing with some personal issues behind closed doors, as her husband hadn’t been too happy about the way she had handled herself on the show. During one of the first episodes, Redmond decided to go out with Stephanie Hollman and Cary Deuber, and the three ladies went to a male strip club. Brandi ended up on the stage with another man, and her husband was not pleased about it.

According to a new Bravo report, Brandi Redmond is now revealing that he was very upset about everything that happened, and he told her behind closed doors that he wanted a divorce. Apparently, the D word is something Brandi had thrown around before, but she was always joking when she was saying it. When Bryan said it, she was scared that he actually meant it.

“He was so angry that he told me he wanted a divorce. I can only imagine how mad he was because he never uses the D word. He is a very positive uplifting person and does not get angry or raise his voice often,” Brandi Redmond explains on her blog for The Real Housewives of Dallas, revealing he was truly angry and that the two had trouble speaking to one another.

This was shown on The Real Housewives of Dallas, as Brandi struggled to make sense of why he was absent when she was trying to meet her grandfather and piece together a part of her family that had been absent for so long. Redmond admits that she has used the word divorce before and that she doesn’t mean it when she says it. Now she realizes just how hurtful it all is.

“If I say the D word, he knows its not serious and it’s a pet peeve of his that I throw it out so loosely when I’m upset. I knew I hurt him when he told me he wanted a divorce and in return he hurt me by saying that. A divorce is not something I ever want and will fight for my marriage. I was open with sharing this part of my life because I realized how much the word divorce hurts,” Brandi Redmond points out on her blog.

Over the past couple of months, Brandi Redmond has been working on her marriage behind closed doors. She’s been trying to get things back to the way they were before The Real Housewives of Dallas came into her life. It is very possible that she won’t return for a second season, as she wants to focus on her marriage. Brandi has revealed that Bravo has yet to issue contracts for the second season, but she could very well pass up on the opportunity. As for the other ladies, Redmond doesn’t feel that she’s leaving any relationship in shambles after this first season.

“I felt that my relationship with all the ladies was in a good place. I didn’t want to stir the pot although things were popping in my head like crazy. I just felt that I was so lucky to be in a good place with everything in my life,” Redmond reveals on her blog, sharing that she feels she has done what she can with the ladies.

It is possible that Redmond will focus on herself and her life going forward, so fans may have to convince her to return if they want her back.
