Johnny Depp Restraining Order Extended: Amber Heard Loses 20 Pounds From Stress

Amber Heard sought a restraining order against Johnny Depp in May, which she received in response to abuse allegations including having an iPhone tossed at her face. Heard previously went through the preliminary steps of divorcing Depp. Her restraining order is now extended through mid-August, according to the Daily Mail.

In addition to Amber claiming that Johnny abused, her, her pal iO Tillett Wright alleged that Depp has a history of violence directed against Heard.

“I called 911 because she never would,” explained Wright. “I was on the phone with both of them and heard it drop, heard him say, ‘What if I pulled your hair back?’ and her scream for my help, I wondered like so many times before if I should break the code of silence that surrounds celebrities and invite the police into the situation.”

Amber’s friend also contends that whenever Johnny abused his wife, Heard put her focus on protecting Depp.

“Every time it happened, her first thought was about protecting him… I know this because I went to their house. I saw the pillow with my own eyes. I saw the busted lip and the clumps of hair on the floor.”

For Wright, viewing Johnny as an abuser comes after initial disbelief. She describes her own history with Depp as similar to a “brother,” revealing that she had even been hesitant to believe in the abuse allegations until she saw evidence.

“He had been my friend, too, a person I loved very much. A person I had once referred to as a brother,” shared Amber’s friend. “I knew him to be soft and gentle, with a temper and a dark side, but a golden heart. I didn’t want to believe it either, until I saw the wreckage.”

However, the attorney representing Johnny is denying the allegations. According to the lawyer, those claims are an attempt to counteract the “negative media attention.”

Among those defending Depp is his daughter Lily-Rose Depp, reported CBS News.

Johnny’s daughter, 17, contradicted the domestic abuse claims in an Instagram post. Although Lily-Rose did not mention the charges against Depp, she focused on describing his love.

“My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know,” emphasized Johnny’s daughter in her post. “He’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same.”

Heard is claiming verbal as well as physical abuse in her divorce filing. In addition to the restraining order, Amber had requested temporary spousal support, which she then withdrew, noted Salon.

The initial spousal support request, said Heard in clarifying why she retracted it, has become a weapon used against her.

“[The temporary spousal support request has been] used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious, real issue of domestic violence.”

According to the World Health Organization, 35 percent of women have suffered from some type of sexual violence. A survey by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that more than 20 percent of women endured a minimum of one physically violent act during their lives.

Amid the stress of her divorce and ongoing debate about her allegations, Heard has lost 20 pounds, according to TMZ.

Amber was supposed to go to London for a costume fitting, but has lost so much weight from the stress that the crew on the production were concerned that she was too thin. Her legal representatives explained to the judge that the trip to London was required, making it challenging for the attorney representing Depp to get Heard’s deposition.

But TMZ reports that Amber did not travel to London. Team Heard revealed that the reason for the cancellation was her weight loss, with producers worried that she was not ready to be filmed.
