Harry Styles just can’t stay away from the U.K., and “Daddy Direction” Liam Payne may be following in his best mate Louis Tomlinson’s footsteps and becoming a father in the literal sense.
Dan Wootton of the Sunreports that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Liam Payne are trying for their first child.
“CHERYL and her toyboy boyfriend Liam Payne are trying for a baby… The Sun on Sunday can reveal the loved-up pair have told friends they want to start a family — despite being together for just eight months.”
Apparently the only thing holding Cheryl back from taking the motherhood plunge is the fact that she is still married to her ex, Jean-Bernard.
“Her dream is to become a mum… But she also wants to get her divorce to JB out the way and be able to have a complete fresh start.”
A source reported that Cheryl and Liam are “very serious” and that Cheryl has not been so happy since the good periods of her first marriage, which was to Ashley Cole.
“It’s very serious now between Cheryl and Liam and they have been talking among close friends about starting a family… Cheryl is happier than she’s been since the good days of her marriage to Ashley Cole… She’s content and while they’re in the honeymoon period, this feels like a connection for the future.”
Some of Liam’s friends have expressed concern that Payne has pretty much stopped writing and recording since getting serious with Fernandez-Versini. Liam now spends his time cooking for Cheryl and helping her deal with the details of her divorce from Jean-Bernard, according to reports.
“He has eight guitars and has barely picked one up since being with Cheryl…. He is not writing music and he’s not out partying — he’s cooking for her and helping with her divorce details.”
Louis Tomlinson was Liam’s primary songwriting collaborator prior to Liam’s time-consuming involvement with Cheryl. Louis has been busy too, caring for his son Freddie Reign during visitation periods and spending time with his actress girlfriend Danielle Campbell.
One Direction’s first father took to Twitter today to wish a happy father’s day to everybody. Louis Tomlinson also posted an Instagram shot showing his tattooed fingers clutching Freddie’s chubby infant digits. Louis wrote “Happy father’s day to every lucky lad out there who’s someone’s daddy!” and said that he’s thoroughly enjoyed his day.
The cute dad was spotted out in LA today. Tomlinson wore casual knee-length shorts and a dark shirt over a printed white tank. Louis clutched his trademark giant Starbucks coffee and covered his hair with a knitted beanie as he strolled with his bodyguards.
Louis and Liam’s bandmate Harry Styles may not have any plans to join them on the fatherhood track, but Styles has been proving that home and family are close to his heart.
It has emerged that Harry Styles will be heading home to London every weekend while he films for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.
A key Harry update accounts reports that the British star just can’t stay away from Lonson for long — Styles revealed to fans that he will be making the trip regularly.
Is Harry Styles feeling a surge of British pride? Harry-watchers noticed that he liked a post celebrating ex-Beatle Paul McCartney on Instagram yesterday. The post was by Paul’s daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, and it was posted in honor of the pop icon’s birthday.
Not only that, Harry took time out during his last short London stay to attend a performance by Coldplay, another iconic U.K. act.
Harry Styles secured his role in Dunkirk after the casting decision-makers were impressed by Styles’ performance at readings, and by his commitment and fresh approach.
Harry cut his hair to play the role of a soldier caught up in the evacuation of allied troops from the beaches of Dunkirk, France, according to the Daily Mail.
Nolan and his team reportedly want to tell the story of the World War II evacuation from a British point of view — apparently, prior to the Nolan project, the story had been presented most often from an American point of view.
“Dunkirk is one of the mostly hotly anticipated films in years thanks to an all-star cast consisting of Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles, who was spotted on set today in uniform sporting a bloodied bandage…The film is based on the real life evacuation from Dunkirk, which was one of the biggest operations of the Second World War and was one of the major factors in enabling the Allies to continue fighting.”
