Niall Horan And Harry Styles Hounded Through Hiatus, Louis Tomlinson And Liam Payne Deal With Legal Woes

Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan have all faced some obstacles as they attempt to pursue new projects during the One Direction hiatus and as they try to enjoy the break.

Niall Horan has lashed out at a BBC reporter who hounded him for an interview at Ascot, reports Sugarscape.

“I’m not here to do sh** interviews for you,” Niall wrote on Twitter after the reporter made some rude comments, saying that Niall gave “the most unimpressive performance” by a celebrity he’s seen at Ascot.

Reporter Tim Dellor accused Niall of “taking himself quite seriously,” scoffing that he did not know who Niall was until his producer told him. Tim blasted Niall for his fashion choices and accused the One Direction star of standing up straight to try to “give himself a bit of extra height.” The seemingly hostile BBC reporter ended his tirade with the remark that “It was the most unimpressive performance by a celebrity who I didn’t know who it was [sic].”

“I didn’t actually know who he was anyway, to be honest. I had to ask my producer… He looked like he was taking himself quite seriously; a lot of bodyguards around. I didn’t have any clue who he was, but the snappers obviously did. He’s not dressed properly, either. He’s only in a normal lounge suit…He had sunglasses on and was trying to stand up and straight as he possibly could to give himself an extra bit of height. It was the most unimpressive performance by a celebrity who I didn’t know who it was.”

Niall hit back on Twitter, saying he was trying to enjoy the horse races with his family and he does not owe Tom Dellor a “s*** interview.”

“what are you on about mate? I was having a day out with my family who also enjoy horse racing big time. I’m not there to stand infront of cameras and do s*** interviews for you [sic].”

Meanwhile, Harry Styles has also hit some fame-related snags as he attempts to get serious filming for his role in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.

First, Harry was forced to leave his accommodation in Dunkirk after fans discovered where he was staying and parked themselves outside the hotel, causing a nuisance. Next, Harry attracted some criticism when extras observed that he was being transported around the set in a little buggy, while seasoned actors like Kenneth Branagh “had to walk,” reports Unreality TV.

“He appears like a decent guy, easy going. One thing that surprised me is that he arrived on set on the mole in a little buggy…while in the mean time Kenneth Branagh was walking all the way to get there (that like 1km)…. It didn’t feel right, but to his defense, his fans are crazy so I can understand extra security for him. It’s amazing what a little bit of fame can do… He really doesn’t look anything special than most extras when in costume. He was among us several times, walked right in front of me.”

Harry Styles appears unflappable as always, and still seems to have unlimited patience for his sometimes-disruptive but always adoring fans.

Today, Styles encountered some fans who pressured him for photos, and the tired star gathered them all together for a group picture.

One fan reported that Harry was tired but still so “friendly and calm [and] adorable and kind and polite.”

As for Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, both are having some of their hiatus time eaten up by legal battles.

Louis Tomlinson is said to be preparing to go to court to fight for custody of his son Freddie Reign. Relations between Louis Tomlinson and his ex Briana Jungwirth are rumored to be fraught, and the whole Jungwirth family was said to be “hurt” when Tomlinson began dating actress Danielle Campbell while the besotted Briana was still pregnant.

OK! reports that yesterday Briana posted an emotional quote about finding love, and being unappreciated, on social media.

“Someone, somewhere, is looking for the exact same love that you have to offer… The exact same love that the one who hurt you did not appreciate. Don’t lose hope and don’t settle. The most beautiful love stories are those that come after you realise what you deserve and you actually finally get it.”

Liam Payne’s life is also being affected by a legal battle, and in this case the legal woes are entirely not of his making.

Irish Examiner reports that Liam’s friends are worried because he has stopped partying and songwriting. Payne reportedly spends all his time at home cooking for his girlfriend Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and supporting her as she labors through messy divorce proceedings.

“He’s not out partying and enjoying himself – he’s at home cooking for Cheryl and helping with her acrimonious divorce details…. His friends and music associates are really worried. He’s done brilliantly for a man his age but he needs to move forward with his career.”

Do you think Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan have been able to de-stress and enjoy the One Direction hiatus?
