Anyone and everyone, even those who don't watch The Walking Dead, is wondering who Negan is going to kill in Season 7. So far, the cast has tried to say they don't know, or they can't tell, or anything to deflect from talking about it. The creators and filmmakers know that revealing the info would be a huge spoiler, so they have come up with an ingenious way of keeping "that death" a secret until the season premiere.
Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the upcoming season and comic book of The Walking Dead. If you don't want to know them, stop reading now.
At the end of the Season 6 finale, Negan lays into one of the survivors with Lucille (barbed-wire covered bat) but it is not shown who. As he begins his onslaught, the camera goes to black while focused on a close-up of his face, and that is all that anyone knows with 100 percent certainty.
Since then, many theories have come out as to who he may end up killing, but no-one knows for sure. In order to keep things a secret, AMC is doing whatever possible to not reveal who the ultimate victim is and they're doing it in a unique fashion, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Each of the 11 cast members filming the scene which is a continuation of the Season 6 finale ending with Negan, has filmed a death scene. Yes, that means Daryl, Carl, Rick, Rosita, Arron, Glenn, Abraham, Michonne, Eugene, Maggie, and Sasha have all filmed a death scene so that no-one watching from the outside knows who actually dies.
During editing, the directors and producers will choose their planned storyline and edit in the scene of the character they want to die.
Prime example: the creation of Daryl Dixon.
When it actually comes down to it, the answer to "Who does Negan kill in Season 7?" is a simple answer: everyone. During filming, Negan has killed everyone, as all 11 main characters in that scene have filmed their death scenes so no-one truly knows until the season premiere takes place.
TV Guide warns about anyone saying they know who is going to die in Season 7, as the creators and directors of The Walking Dead are pretty much making sure that isn't possible. Any and all spoilers always need to be taken with a grain of salt and seen in a cautious light, as they could be completely bogus.
If you're looking for the exact and definitive spoiler of who is going to die at the hands of Negan (and Lucille) in Season 7 of The Walking Dead, then, you likely need to be a member of the cast or crew. They are taking every precaution and doing everything possible to keep "that death" a secret until it actually airs on AMC this fall. Their method of doing it is quite brilliant and may be exactly what other big shows copy in the future to avoid any kind of spoiler leaks.
