Shakira is due for a big comeback. She has been concentrating on taking care of her budding family, which includes Gerard Pique and her two baby boys Milan and Sasha, but she now is starting to prioritize her music.
"She leads an extremely busy life, juggling a continuously sky-rocketing career and motherhood all at the same time," reports Daily Mail. "But on Monday afternoon Shakira took some time for herself, blowing off some much-needed steam as she eagerly arrived to an athletic center in Barcelona. The Colombian pop diva looked to be in tip-top shape as she practically sprinted out of the car and into her local gym in a stylish fitness ensemble."
Getting back into shape is the first step towards becoming performance ready.
Another way that Shakira has been gearing toward a musical comeback was by starring in the latest animated film Zootopia, in which she voiced the character of a gazelle. The film is rated 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Her next step, according to Daily Mail, is dropping "her highly-anticipated music for her vallenato-reggaeton duet with Carlos Vives called La Bicicleta." She has posted to Instagram about it to make sure that her fans anticipate its release. She also has been steadily sharing her life with Gerard Pique and baby boys, Milan and Sasha. Her latest post about her kids has been about the time when her husband scored a goal in a game against the Czech Republic.
"Shakira shared the sweetest photo of her youngest as he cheered on his dad Gerard Piqué's winning goal," reports E! Online. "The 'Hips Don't Lie' singer then proudly shared a photo of her beau as the crowd cheered and he blew them a kiss."Piqué's goal, Spain's goal!" the star captioned her post. The play scored Spain a 1-0 win over Czech Republic in Euro 2016."She has been the biggest supporter of her husband during the time that she took time off from her music career. The singer regularly posts pictures about her husband's football team, Barcelona. But now, she is ready for a comeback and she is prepared to work hard for it.
"I've been taking a temporary license away from music for my kids, justified by them," Shakira said according to Belfast Telegraph. "And the truth is that it was healthy… But the reality is that it is vital for me, and this is who I am - music is in the very fibre of my being. And I need to get back to it, so my kids are going to have to excuse me for a little bit."
"It's hard to keep a balance," she continued. "I think it's one of the biggest challenges that women have today. We have to do so many things - be mothers, be professionals, be girlfriends, and keep it all together, juggling everything around."
But that doesn't mean that she will leave her husband and babies to go off to make music. Even though they are not married, Gerard Pique and Shakira have been pictured to go on dates as a couple and as a family more often than other celebrity couples.
"She is a globally-successful singer as well as a mother and wife," reports Daily Mail. "So it's fitting that Shakira should enjoy a rare day off to spend with footballer husband Gerard Piqué and their adorable son, Milan, this week. The blonde beauty, 39, was spotted out and about in Barcelona on Thursday where she appeared to keep a low profile."
