Kim Kardashian Calls Taylor Swift A Liar Over Lyrics To Kanye West’s Song, ‘Famous’

It seems the feud between Taylor Swift and Kanye West has been revived once again. And this time, Kim Kardashian joined in on the act by calling the “Bad Blood” singer a liar.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift will forever be linked together. In 2009, the self-proclaimed Yeezy gatecrashed Swifts’s speech during the MTV Music Awards after she won Best Female Video. At that time, the controversial rapper stormed onto the stage to protest the announcement as he insisted that Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” should have won.

The two seemed to have kissed and made up during the Grammy Awards in February this year. Or not.

Apparently, Taylor Swift took a shot at Kanye West during her speech at the Grammys.

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I will say to all of the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”

Most entertainment sites alleged that Taylor Swift, who is reportedly dating Thor actor Tom Hiddleston, was referring to Kanye West’s song, “Famous,” which is a cut from his album, The Life of Pablo.

In the track, Kim Kardashian’s husband rapped, “For all my Southside n****s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous.”

The saga of Taylor Swift and Kanye West continues.

Now, Kim Kardashian has chimed in on the feud by basically calling Taylor Swift a liar for crying about having no prior knowledge about the lyrics to the song, “Famous.”

In an interview with GQ, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said that Kanye West called up Taylor and asked for permission to include her in “Famous.”

The 35-year-old insisted that the “Bad Blood” singer “totally approved” the lyrics of the song.

“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,” Kim Kardashian said. “I swear, my husband gets so much s**t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”

She said that Kanye West could have gone ahead and just produce the song without Taylor Swift’s approval as she rhetorically asked, “What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”

In fact, the call by her husband to the 26-year-old pop star was recorded on video. Apparently—and this should not surprise anybody—Kanye West has hired a videographer to follow him around during work and even at home. He just hasn’t decided whether to produce a documentary, that’s all.

Nevertheless, a spokesperson for Taylor Swift said that Kim Kardashian’s interview with GQ where she called the “Shake it Off” singer a liar is understandable considering that she’s married to Kanye West.

“However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect. Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since,” the statement said.

But the spokesperson said that Taylor Swift could not have given her permission if Kanye West did not play “Famous” to her.

“Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that b***h’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard,” the spokesperson added.
