Jules Wainstein Divorce Saga, ‘RHONY Star Needed Police Protection, Michael Wainstein Allegedly Threatens His Estranged Wife

New York City police swarm the former joint living quarters of RHONY stars Jules and Michael Wainstein on Thursday morning. Apparently, Jules called them for protection after Michael allegedly issued a series of threats against her.

“An officer was seen leaving the apartment carrying a written statement from Jules Wainstein. She disclosed that he threatened to ruin her life.”

That’s not all, either. An insider revealed to Daily Mail that Michael was involved in a six-month affair with a close friend of his estranged wife. “It’s disgusting,” Wainstein’s friend revealed.

It isn’t known what was said between them or how Michael was threatening Jules, other than she claims he threatened to “ruin her.” Wainstein didn’t elaborate how he could ruin her. Social media users speculated that he meant he’d trash her to their mutual friends, although, when asked, Jules’ rep stated “no comment.”

On the newest Bravo episode of RHONY, Jules started suspecting that Michael may be up to no good when he was attached to his phone. Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend, John Mahdessian, dubbed him “phone boy” because he was preoccupied with his phone, rather than engage in conversation with his wife.

Of course, Jules now knows the truth — he was texting/talking to his “other woman,” as she learned the affair began early in January. Wainstein believed that she could trust Michael, but she learned that he took advantage of her confidence, and was cheating on her for months in secret — with a good friend of hers to add insult to injury.

“It was so difficult to watch the beginning of the end unfold in this week’s episode, but I’ve come a long way since my life began to unravel this past winter, and my kids and I will be just fine — better than fine. Truth is that it’s too easy to get caught up in your own reality, especially when you are blindsided and betrayed by someone who is supposed to be a partner and friend.”

The police escorted Michael off their former joint residence with the couple’s 5-year-old son, Jagger, in tow. He had a backpack stuffed with clothes and seemed stressed out.

The RHONY co-stars have rallied around Jules, pledging to be there for her in this difficult time. Ramona Singer revealed on Twitter that she’s spoken with Wainstein, and she is doing “as well as she can in the situation” and will do what’s best for her kids. Singer credited Jules as “being a great mother and intuitive to their needs.”

“I’m trusting and open, but I’m also strong and practical. This isn’t the end of the world, it’s just a big bump in the road, but I’ll get over it and I’ll be stronger for it. I’ve got my kids, my family, my friends, my business, Modern Alkeme, and while my heart might be broken, it’s still good as gold.”

Jules frequently complained about Michael’s lack of commitment to their marriage and children. She told her friend Dorinda that sometimes marriage isn’t fair because you give much more than your partner. She voiced her concern over Michael’s attachment to his cell phone and wondered who he could be talking to so often. Apparently, deep down, Jules knew something wasn’t right in their relationship to suspect him.

Another time, Wainstein disclosed that Michael isn’t very good with the kids. Jules revealed that she arrived home one night after taping for RHONY, and he never changed the kids’ clothes from their school uniforms, and he refused to get them milk or cereal.
