Pippa Middleton Concentrates On Races, James Matthews Because Of Prince William?

Pippa Middleton has been running more races than ever, and that might be because of her brother-in-law, Prince William. She was noted once for pursuing a career in journalism and broadcast, but it looks like all those plans have vanished into thin air, leaving Pippa to concentrate on her races and her relationship with her current boyfriend, James Matthews.

The word on the street has it that Pippa Middleton has been persuaded by Prince William to stop pursuing her dreams in broadcast journalism.

“The Mail on Sunday has established that she has no substantial contracts left and, more significantly, has no intention of taking on new work,” reports the Daily Mail. “And the reason for this vanishing act, say friends, is that 32-year-old Pippa has been ‘quietly and diplomatically reined in’ by Prince William, who is understood to have been helping advise her on her future role.”

“The Duke of Cambridge is said to be sharply aware that commercial ventures associated with the Royal Family, including Pippa’s projects, might bring criticism or damage the family reputation,” added the reporter.

That means she won’t be appearing in front of magazine covers like this one.

Having been pushed away from becoming a part of the press journalism, Pippa Middleton has been investing much of her time in running marathons, completing grueling ski races in Switzerland, and sailing. Good thing that her boyfriend, James Matthews, has been super supportive of her efforts so far!

Most recently, she completed the Great Wall Marathon in China, and in good time too!

“Pippa Middleton is never one to shy away from a fitness challenge, and on Saturday she took on one of her most testing experiences to date – running the Great Wall Marathon in China,” reports Hello! Magazine. “This gruelling 26.2 mile course took place in 29?C heat and includes some 5,164 steps, but as ever the Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister rose to the challenge and didn’t disappoint. The 32-year-old completed the course in an impressive 4 hours and 54 minutes, making her the 13th woman to cross the finish line and placing her 69th out of 2,444 runners.”

“It was long, it was hard. The Great Wall sections were stunning, they were some of the best bits despite how hard they were,” Pippa said. “The whole thing was a really unique experience.”

Before that race, she took part in a ski race in Switzerland, which her boyfriend joined in on. If he enjoys pushing himself physically and mentally, then he is a great fit for Pippa.

She also recognizes that James Matthews may be the one for her. She recently moved in with him after only being together for a couple of months.

“As the Royal sister-in-law enjoyed a romantic holiday in Corsica with hedge fund manager James Matthews last week, removal men were busy loading her possessions into his £17 million West London home,” reports the Daily Mail. “They discreetly moved tables and chairs, dresses, coats, shoes and ornaments into his palatial property from the nearby apartment Pippa had been sharing with her brother James.”

But they have been together before she dated her previous boyfriend Nico Jackson so they have a much longer history than most people think.

Other than participating in races with her, James also shares another common ground with Pippa Middleton. He also comes from a new-money family in England. His father made “a fortune from a coach-building business, and then went on to establish the exclusive Eden Rock Hotel in the Caribbean island of St Barts, famous for attracting Hollywood A-listers,” according to the Daily Mail.
