Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushell Split — Former ‘Bachelor’ Regrets Letting JoJo Fletcher Go [Report]
Is Ben Higgins having second thoughts about picking Lauren Bushnell?
Wet Paint is reporting that Higgins is having a hard time watching his runner-up, JoJo Fletcher, fall for a new guy every week on The Bachelorette.
Watching Fletcher has reignited old feelings and even has Higgins second guessing his engagement to Bushnell.
“Ben’s realizing he’s still very much in love with JoJo and those feelings may never go away… Ben think he may have picked the wrong woman… He questions whether he would have been happier being engaged to her.”
Apart from seeing Fletcher flaunt her stuff on TV, Higgins and Bushnell are having problems of their own.
As Bachelor fans will recall, Higgins told Fletcher that he loved her before handing out his final rose to Bushnell. Needless to say, this didn’t exactly go over well with Bushnell.
Higgins and Bushnell dated for three months before deciding to get hitched. Now, that they have spent more time together, their differences are starting to crop up.
In particular, Ben Higgins enjoys living in the quiet backdrop of Denver, while Bushnell wants to return to her busy life in L.A.
“She’s always complaining that she feels lost and alone there and that she misses her friends,” the source shared. “Every time she says it, Ben can’t help think about JoJo and how easygoing she is. It makes him wonder if this would be happening had he picked her.”
That being said, Higgins and Bushnell have shown little to no hints of problems in their relationship. In fact, their activity on social media indicates that all is well between The Bachelor stars.
Hollywood Take is reporting that Higgins and Bushnell are nowhere near splitting up. Instead, the reality stars are still in love and have plans to wed in the near future.
Not only are the two ready to exchange vows, but they apparently have plans to televise the ceremony for all their fans to see.
“[They] will get married very soon, probably this summer,” an insider revealed to Us Magazine. “It would be an ABC special.”
If they do televise the wedding, then Bushnell is planning on a celebrity packed event. The guest list reportedly includes the likes of Chris Soules, Sean Lowe, Chris Siegfried, and Desiree Hartsock.
“I want a huge reception,” Higgins stated in an interview with People. “How often in life do all your friends and family gather in one room to celebrate something? Why get married tomorrow if we can plan a big ass party?”
Of course, all the weddings plans depend on whether or not Higgins and Bushnell are still going strong. If the breakup reports are true, then the couple has a lot of work to do before they walk down the aisle.
Even if Higgins wants Fletcher back, there is a chance that things won’t work out. After all, she has clearly moved on with her life and is enjoying her time in the limelight.
According to InTouch Weekly, Fletcher has zero plans to get back with Higgins.
“She’s finally at the point where she’s completely moved on from him and is ready to find herself a husband who loves her and only her,” the insider continued. “Of course, if Ben reaches out to her, she’ll talk to him. But I can promise you, she will never get back together with him – ever.”
In the end, only time will tell if Higgins and Bushnell pull it together and get married.
