Bethenny Frankel Doesn’t Envy Jules’ Marriage: ‘I’d Rather Be Solo Than Feel Like That’

Bethenny Frankel has shared many things on The Real Housewives of New York over the years, including her finding out that she was pregnant, her marital troubles, her divorce, and, more recently, a health scare. Frankel doesn’t hold back because she’s honest about what she puts out there and she owns everything — good and bad.

This season, Frankel welcomed new housewife Jules Wainstein onto the show along with the other housewives. Jules got a warm welcome because she was friends with Dorinda Medley prior to going on the show. But as yesterday proved, not even her eight-year marriage can remain strong in the spotlight.

According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel is now reflecting on Jules’ marriage after learning that she’s divorcing her husband. On last night’s episode of the show, Jules’ marriage troubles with her husband started surfacing. She was clearly not happy with the way Michael was handling everything in their marriage, including how much he was contributing to the children. And Bethenny Frankel doesn’t envy her troubles at all. As Frankel explains, she would much rather be single than deal with those issues.

“It’s looking like Jules and Michael are having some trouble in paradise. That I don’t miss, and that I don’t envy. I do ‘suck at relationships,’ but I’d rather be solo than feel like that. Tensions have arisen over there. John was trying to break the tension, and at that dinner, he was definitely my favorite Housewife,” Bethenny Frankel explains in her blog, not making any references to the divorce news that was shared yesterday afternoon.

According to Us Weekly, Jules’ marriage has come to an end after she learned that her husband, Michael, had been cheating on her. She hasn’t said anything publicly about the issue, but Andy Cohen has hinted that their story on the show did foreshadow a divorce coming. Just on last nigh’s episode, Wainstein kept saying that her husband was always on the phone, but she didn’t know with whom. And Bethenny Frankel doesn’t envy that situation at all. While her marriage didn’t end due to cheating, she doesn’t like feeling uncertain in her marriage.

Other than the uncomfortable dinner, Frankel said that she really enjoyed last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York. She reveals that it was a classic, truly vintage episode, and she really enjoyed watching it. In fact, Bethenny reveals that she was laughing through much of it.

“I laughed from the minute Sonja said ‘my Tom’ through the conversation with Ramona about #braceletgate. It was two, not one, bracelets by the way. I continued laughing at Simon and Garfunkel, I mean Carole and Adam with his long hair and guitar get up to her hideous terrarium and his reaction to it. I laughed even more when cracked out Luann in her white wedding cape didn’t let me get a thought, much less a word, in edgewise. I mean you gotta love a woman who does the inviting and accepting of an invitation,” Bethenny Frankel reveals, sharing she thought it was super funny when Luann was telling her co-stars about her upcoming engagement to Thomas.

And it sounds like Bethenny Frankel is really enjoying this season, as she ends her blog with an interesting statement.

“What can I tell you? The ratings are flying, the drama is real, and I give zero f—s if people love or hate me. This is a reality show and in dealing with this particular group of women, THIS is my reality,” Bethenny ends her blog.
