‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: What To Expect In Season 6, Episode 9

Game Of Thrones is quickly nearing the end of Season 6, and Sunday’s penultimate episode, titled “Battle Of The Bastards,” is sure to be huge.

As Game of Thrones fans know, the ninth episode of each season is usually a high action show that delivers a lot of intense and shocking moments, and fans are expecting “Battle Of The Bastards” to live up to the hype.

The trailer for Season 6, Episode 9, aired after the most recent episode last Sunday on HBO. According to Winter Is Coming, the trailer is all about the epic battle brewing between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton.

Some fans are even anticipating that there will be no other locations seen in the episode, and that Game of Thrones fans will stay in the north with Jon, Sansa, and Ramsay the entire time. This would be a first for the show, which usually jumps around between all of the central characters and locations. If the show is only set in the north on Sunday, there is sure to be a very good reason for it.

The trailer doesn’t hold back on quality. It is easy to see that this amazing battle is going to look, feel, and seem as real as it gets, as the show is known for its awesome special effects.

During the Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 9 trailer, Jon Snow is seen in the north preparing for battle. He asks Lady Melisandre to refrain from bringing him back from the dead a second time if he were to fall during the fight for Winterfell.

During the battle scenes that are teased in the preview, viewers can see arrows flying across enemy lines, likely from the Bolton side. Game of Thrones spoilers and rumors suggest that one of these arrows could actually land in the back of Sansa and Jon’s youngest brother, Rickon Stark.

As viewers know, Ramsay Bolton has been holding Rickon prisoner ever since the Umbers found the boy and used him as a bargaining chip. Rumor has it that just when fans think another Stark family reunion is about to take place, Ramsay will shoot Rickon in the back with an arrow. This would prove what Sansa told Jon earlier in the season, that if Rickon is with Ramsay, he’s already dead.

Sansa, who wants to defeat her monstrous husband, Ramsay, more than anyone, will come face to face with Lord Bolton for the first time since fleeing his clutches with Theon in the first episode of Season 6. Sansa and Ramsay could share some words, and if Ramsay falls, many Game of Thrones fans are hoping that he will die at the hands of Sansa.

Meanwhile, if viewers don’t leave the north in the newest episode, there will be at least one other storyline for them to follow besides the big Jon/Ramsay face off.

Davos will finally learn what happened to Princess Shireen, the late daughter of Stannis Baratheon. Davos will find out that it was Melisandre who persuaded Stannis to sacrifice her, by burning her to death, in hopes of using the blood magic to win the war in the north. Unfortunately, Shireen paid the ultimate price, and Stannis fell to the Bolton army anyway. Stannis’ wife, who couldn’t handle what had happened to her daughter, killed herself shortly after the sacrifice.

Game of Thrones fans watched Davos develope a very special place in his heart for Shireen, and the news of her manner of death is sure to hit him hard. Perhaps he’ll even strike back at Melisandre.

However, Davos won’t have long to mourn, as he’ll be Jon Snow’s right hand man during the epic battle to come.
