Angelina Jolie ‘Reconnecting’ With Daniel Craig Amid Brad Pitt Divorce Rumors
Angelina Jolie and Daniel Craig are reportedly back in touch after being romantically linked several years ago.
According to a new report, Angelina Jolie and Craig, whom she starred alongside in Tomb Raider, are “burning up the phone lines” after Craig pushed the United Nations for more funding for “defusing land mines and other explosives in conflict zones around the world.”
“[Angelina Jolie] called him to praise his efforts, and the pair have been blowing up the phones ever since,” an insider told Radar Online on June 14, adding that Jolie hopes to join forces with Craig and the organization on a project because she’s sure the allegedly upcoming Tomb Raider reboot will shed light on their efforts.

“[Angelina Jolie] and Daniel always got on well and are thrilled they’ve reconnected over a worthy cause,” said the insider.
Meanwhile, added the source, “What their respective spouses think about this ancient hookup being revitalized remains to be seen, but for now [Angelina Jolie] and Daniel are talking on the phone a lot.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie began dating while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith over 10 years ago and in August 2014, they tied the knot at their estate in France. Since the start of their relationship, Angelina Jolie and her husband have welcomed 3 children of their own, daughter Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7, and adopted 3 additional children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11.

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have enjoyed nearly 2 years of marriage, they have been plagued by rumors of a split and possible affair since earlier this year due to Pitt’s relationship with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard.
In March, after sources claimed Angelina Jolie and her husband had been living separate lives for over a year, a report claimed Jolie was insanely jealous of Cotillard, which had put an undeniable strain on her marriage.
“The resentment has been eating away at [Angelina Jolie],” an insider told In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life. “She’s prone to think that since she was once Brad’s co-star and seduced him away from his wife, the same will happen to her.”
At the time Pitt’s relationship with Angelina Jolie began on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jennifer Aniston hadn’t yet filed for divorce, which made for quite the controversy. Because Aniston was America’s unofficial sweetheart, many fans of Pitt and Jolie turned on them because of their relationship and now, it seems karma may have caught up with Jolie.
In addition to Angelina Jolie’s reportedly jealousy over Pitt’s on-set interaction with Cotillard, the actress is said to be fuming over her accomplishments in entertainment.
“She’s exactly the kind of sultry European actress that [Angelina Jolie] has always wanted to be and she’s playing exactly the kind of role Angie’s always wanted to play,” the magazine’s source explained. “Adding to the jealousy is the fact that Marion has one thing Angelina hasn’t achieved in her acting career: Oscar for Best Actress.”
The source went on to claim Angelina Jolie’s husband had made plans to file for divorce.
“He will be the one to file,” the magazine claimed. “He’s fed up with [Angelina Jolie’s] controlling ways, her obstinateness when it comes to listening to him about her health issues and how she needs to slow down and now her outright jealousy when it comes to other women.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have remained silent in regard to the ongoing rumors of a split.
