Could Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux be getting divorced before their one-year wedding anniversary?

According to new reports, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are on the rocks, just as Jennifer Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt is with his wife, Angelina Jolie. But could that mean a Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reconciliation is possible? While it may sound like a long shot for some, reports claim the former couple is already back in touch.

While Pitt and Jolie have been facing rumors of a split for the last several months, as well as claims of an on-set affair between Pitt and Marion Cotillard, his co-star in the upcoming World War II flick Allied, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been flying under the radar for some time.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux “spent far more time apart than they have together,” a source recently told In Touch Weekly, according to a report by Hollywood Take on June 9.

There was also a mention of a fight between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, which erupted after Theroux revealed he would be skipping their one-year wedding anniversary, which is on August 5 of this year, because of work.

“Brad and Angelina are completely in divorce mode and at a point where they barely speak to each other unless it’s about the kids,” In Touch Weekly‘s source alleged, via Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

Meanwhile, added the source, many fans are hoping that the timing of the couples’ alleged divorces will bring Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt back together.

“There are a lot of hopeless romantics who would love nothing more than to see Brad and Jen back together. It would really be the perfect Hollywood ending,” the source suggested.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married from 2000 until 2005, when they announced their split following weeks of rumors regarding Pitt’s alleged affair with Jolie on the set of their movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Then, just one month after Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce, her husband went public with his relationship with Jolie during a trip to Kenya with her oldest adopted son, Maddox, whom he adopted years later.

Since starting up their romance, Pitt and Jolie have adopted 3 children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara, and share 3 children of their own, daughter Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have yet to welcome any children of their own, and when it comes to their future, it is unclear if they ever will.

Last Steptember, however, things were peachy-keen between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux and just one month after their wedding, Theroux gushed about their relationship during an appearance on Good Morning America.

“It’s fantastic,” Theroux said of life married to Jennifer Aniston, according to a report by Hollywood Take. “Something really does shift in a wonderful way and it sort of refocuses things and in a weird way I was sort of … it was a long time coming, but also puts us in exactly sort of the right space … it’s a wonderful thing. … I can’t quite explain what it is. It goes beyond sort of having a ring on your finger or anything. You relax into it in a certain way.”

Jennifer Aniston has spoken highly of their marriage in the past as well and in March, she opened up to Harper’s Bazaar magazine, via Entertainment Tonight, claiming her relationship with Theroux was “normal” and “fun.”
