Lady Gaga Reveals New ‘Stamp Of His Mermaid’ Tattoo

The last time Lady Gaga got a new tattoo, she revealed the title of her new album, ARTPOP. The Queen Monster just revealed a new tattoo, but the message behind it is still a little blurry.

Lady Gaga posted an image of the new tattoo, an anchor below her left breast, along with the message: “New Tat. Stamp of His Mermaid”

The stamp of his mermaid? Is that the name of one of the songs from ARTPOP? Does it have anything to do with her new boyfriend Taylor Kinney?

The singer didn’t give any other details about the new tattoo, but, according to the Daily Mail, it probably has some personal meaning to the singer. Lady Gaga has a total of 11 tattoos, all of which are based on something dear to her heart.

The singer has a musical note on her back for obvious reasons, the word “dad” written in a heart as a tribute to her father who underwent heart surgery a few years ago, a unicorn tattoo referencing her third album, the ARTPOP tattoo for her next album, the date 12/18/1974, which is when her aunt died, and a passage from poet Rainer Maria Rilke along her left arm that reads:

“In the deepest hour of the night, Confess to yourself that you would die if you were forbidden to write. And look deep into your heart where it spreads its roots, the answer, and ask yourself, must I write?”
