Pumped for Britney’s New Album?

Britney Spears’ whole life is a Circus, so her album of the same name planned for a December 2008 release makes a lot of sense. Except for one tiny thing, that is: this album’s supposedly her ticket to Comeback City and Normal Town.

With a bad name already stamped on the project, Britney’s fighting an uphill battle. Well, that and the fact that she’s trying too hard and too fast. Her VMA stuff was passable, she’s managed to have get-togethers with her children and family without drama, and she’s looking fit, but doesn’t another “Britney comeback” promise seem rushed?

I feel like she needs to disappear for a year and then pop up with something amazingly polished.
