Muhammad Ali Sex Tapes Being Sold By Ali’s Baby-Mama In Desperate Cash-Grab

UK publication Mirror was the first to report online that a woman who says she is the mother of Muhammad Ali’s illegitimate child is trying to sell footage from the star’s post-game sex parties for more than $100,000 in a very controversial maneuver many sources are calling a disgraceful and desperate cash-grab.

Basically everyone – even those living under rocks – has heard by now that Muhammad Ali, a beloved public figure who is widely agreed upon to be the greatest boxer ever, passed away due to respiratory issues on June 3. He was 74-years-old. Since then, the internet has been positively flooded with Ali tributes, including respectful retrospectives of his career and lists of reasons why Muhammad lived up to his nickname of “The Greatest.”

The tremendous amount of respect for and admiration of Muhammad Ali shown since his passing is what made it all the more shocking when 70-year-old Barbara Mensah stepped onto the scene and claimed she was selling never-released footage of Ali’s private orgies – in other words, a drastic reversal of the 100 percent positive press Ali has been receiving.

“I know the value of the footage,” Mensah said in reference to the Muhammad Ali sex tapes.

“No one has anything like this. I’d like to get as much as I can for it.”

Mensah says the films, which are stored on the outdated cine film, were shot at the sex-focused parties Ali would supposedly arrange after his fights. The get-togethers were dubbed “gumbo parties,” she says, because “it was a mix of everything.” For those who don’t know, “gumbo is a traditional Louisiana stew that mixes a wide variety of ingredients.

“There would be Ali and a few of his guys and then about a dozen or more girls,” Mensah alleged.

“All of them were stunning. Muhammad couldn’t keep away from a pretty girl whether he was married or not… the tapes show them having sex.”

The tapes could certainly put a damper on Muhammad Ali’s legacy, but it is Barbara herself who is getting a lot of negative press at this point because of her decision to wait until just after Ali died to soil his image, with the Mirror piece referring to what Mensah is trying to do as a “sordid deal” and a “sick bid to cash in on [Ali’s] death.”

Mensah might be getting a bit less disrespect if she was willing to “put her money where her mouth is,” so to speak, in the Ali sex tape sale, but the fact is that she has so far provided virtually no proof that she actually has any of the Muhammad Ali-related footage she says she does.

She claims the tapes were “entrusted to her by one of Ali’s closest confidants” – someone who, if they do exist, made a bad decision when choosing which of Ali’s acquaintances to deem trustworthy – but she refuses to actually show the films to anybody for verification, presumably thinking a showing will lower the films’ value.

The only scrap of evidence that the “gumbo parties” Mensah speaks of were even a thing is pointed out by RT. In an article on the subject, they highlight a photo posted on Barbara Mensah’s Facebook timeline that shows actor Leon Isaac Kennedy and a nearly-naked woman at one of Ali’s “gumbo parties.”

Mensah even claims she has written an extremely revealing memoir of her experiences during her time as Muhammad Ali’s lover and that she has already received bids on the rights from eight different publishers, but she has also failed to provide proof of that information.

It is indisputably true that Ali and Mensah were lovers for a long time, and photographic evidence makes it clear that she cared deeply about Muhammad Ali both while he was alive and at his funeral, which she attended this past week. There is even very good proof the two have an illegitimate child together, as Barbara’s daughter Kiiursti not only looks a lot like Ali but also claims he is her father and has the paternity test to prove it.

But is what Mensah is doing now really what some press sources have been saying; a desperate cash-grab that is ruining Ali’s legacy?
