Calvin Harris Still Bitter But Taylor Swift Doing Great Post Breakup?

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift broke up this year, making it the biggest celebrity split in 2016. While there has been speculations of who broke up with whom and who is still mad, the fact of the matter is that both seems to be going through a rough patch right now.

Their breakup came at an interesting time. Calvin Harris got into a car accident, which made him cancel two of his shows the following days. And just a week or so later, the news was that not only was he back in real life, healthy and well, but also that he and the “Bad Blood” singer was no longer an item.

The word on the street was that “Taylor has told Calvin that she doesn’t want him doing anything for the next few days, and when she sees him she will be waiting on him hand and foot,” a source told Hollywood Life.

“Calvin doesn’t want a fuss made, but she’s not going to give him any choice in that matter,” the source continued. “She will be catering to him for everything he needs, even if that includes driving him around or making him a cup of tea.”

The DJ is now celebrating his single life with another single man in his life — Neymar!

But things might have been more complicated for the musical couple, who decided to part ways after the accident.

Some say that it was the Scottish DJ that triggered the breakup, citing her lifestyle choices as something that he could not get used to.

“It was recently claimed Scottish star Calvin, 32, had ended things with Taylor, 26, because he ‘struggled’ with her ‘regimented’ life,” reports Daily Mail.

A source from Grazia Magazine said that “Taylor is an empire in her own right and, as such, her life is very controlled. At the end of the day, Calvin is still a smalltown boy from Dumfries and I think he struggled with living in such regimented conditions where his every move was speculated on.”

Whether there is any truth to this rumor or not, it is true that Taylor chose not to post anything on her Instagram for a full two weeks.

Her most recent post shows that she is choosing to celebrate love instead of getting spiteful over it. She accepted a couple’s request to sing at their wedding and posted a picture of her with the bride and groom’s party on her social media account.

When she can’t make her romantic dreams come true, it looks like she can make others happen.

But Calvin Harris has not been doing so hot. He has been caught looking rather downcast in many of his outings in Los Angeles.

“He’s barely raised a smile since splitting from girlfriend Taylor Swift at the start of the month,” reports Daily Mail. “And Calvin Harris looked glum once again as he got set to sweat it out in the gym in Los Angeles. The 32-year-old DJ was low-key in trackies as he headed for his workout on Saturday.”

He even took to Twitter to clear some things about the breakup. Instead of quelling the gossip mill, it looks like he has inflamed it at this point.

“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” he wrote on his Twitter.

Some have commented on how overly formal he sounded and the somewhat bitter tone of his message.

On the other hand, Taylor is doing the best she can when she isn’t celebrating a new marriage. One of her best friends, a singer from Fifth Harmony, just gave a short report on how the “Blank Page” singer is doing.

“She’s good. She was just in Nashville,” said Camilla Ceballo.
