‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Filming Update: Alexandria, Church, Gunfire, And Dwight Rides Daryl Dixon’s Bike [Spoilers]

The Walking Dead Season 7 is still being filmed. Fans are excited for the zombie series to return to AMC and are looking for TWD spoilers everywhere. There is new information on what viewers can expect. These include filming at Alexandria and a church, lots of gunfire, and Dwight rides Daryl Dixon’s bike.

Warning: The Walking Dead Season 7 spoilers are ahead.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, The Walking Dead has been filming at a few different locations. One of those includes the Sanctuary, which is home base to the Saviors. There is a rumor that Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) gets kidnapped by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and is taken back to the Sanctuary.

Fans recall that in the season finale of The Walking Dead, Negan made his introduction. However, viewers were upset that the person Negan killed was not revealed. There are tons of theories on that, but spoilers on Negan’s victim are being kept under wraps until the Season 7 premiere.

As for the latest filming update for TWD Season 7, The Spoiling Dead Fans revealed some details. On June 10, the spoiler Facebook page posted that filming was taking place at Alexandria and the church. Dwight was seen riding Daryl’s bike and there was a lot of gunfire.

Also, a truck holding the Saviors was seen, which has prompted fans to wonder if Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) will try to kill Negan, like the character did in The Walking Dead comic books. It does make a lot of sense and sounds like something Carl would do. Of course, there is also the possibility that someone else will hide in the truck and try to kill Negan.

“There was a scene filmed where Negan and his men leave Alexandria,” The Spoiling Dead Fans wrote. “Negan was in a truck with a couple other Saviors. There was a military vehicle full of Saviors. Dwight followed along on Daryl’s motorcycle. We think Negan might have taken Daryl back to the Sanctuary.”

Several TWD actors were seen filming on June 10. Those included Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon, Carl Grimes, Negan, Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), Tara (Alanna Masterson), Dwight (Austin Amelio), and Spencer. There were also a huge group of the Saviors seen on set as well as Morgan (Lennie James).

“Keep in mind that just because an actor was spotted doesn’t necessarily mean they were filming,” TSDF reminded their followers. “We’re kind of especially perplexed by the Morgan sighting. We feel like he should probably still be with the Kingdom people at this point.”

Later in the day on June 10, some filming took place at a church. There was a lot of yelling and some gunshots.

For fans that are still angry about The Walking Dead Season 6 finale, Greg Nicotero had some things to say about that.

“It propels our people. It affects our people profoundly, as it does in the comic book. That changes everyone’s direction,” Greg Nicotero told IGN. “The main thing about Season 7 is establishing that the world isn’t what everybody thinks it is, the world out there. At the end of Season 6, Rick was so confident. ‘We’re just going to knock out that outpost, we’re going to f–k these guys up before they f–k us up,’ and it ends with him going, ‘Heh, oh well, I had no idea. What I perceived as the world is not even close to what the reality of the world is,’ and Negan’s there to show him that.”

It is important to note that IGN wrote that the impact of Negan’s kill will be the same as the comic books. However, that doesn’t mean it will be the same character do dies from being hit by Lucille.
