‘Grey’s Anatomy’ News: Sandra Oh Finally Comments On Owen And Amelia’s Wedding

Last season on Grey’s Anatomy, Owen Hunt tied the knot once again. Everyone has wondered what Sandra Oh, or more like Cristina Yang, thought about him getting married to someone other than her character. E! Online shared that Sandra Oh is finally speaking out about her thoughts, but of course, it is just a bit of a tease.

Sandra Oh reunited with Kevin McKidd on Thursday night. Sandra went to her Twitter and shared her thoughts along with a picture of them together. She said, “And wait – my TV husband has a new TV wife?? Xqueez me? I don’t think so, Ha! Owen what r u thinking??” After that, Sandar Oh posted another picture of herself with Kevin McKidd, and her message was to his new on-screen love interest, Caterina Scorsone. She said, “So much love 2 @caterinatweets Yay Canada. But he’s Myyy Tv hubby.”

It sounds like there are really no hard feelings, but Sandra Oh is having some fun with it and fans are happy to hear from her.

It really does look like Sandra Oh was just teasing, but seeing her with Kevin McKidd again made everyone think about the days when they were together on the show. A lot of people were upset when Sandra Oh left the show and have hoped for her return.

Sandra Oh left the show after 10 seasons as Cristina Yang. When she left the show, Sandra Oh gave a huge statement about leaving.

“It’s been a great privilege to play the character of Cristina Yang on GA and I am both sad and excited to see where this, her final season will take her. It was an emotional and deeply creative decision for me and I feel fully supported by Shonda [Rhimes] and the writers. It’s so rare in an actor’s life to be able to explore and grow a character so fully, so completely. I am profoundly grateful to everyone at GA for the opportunity. I’m excited to celebrate and cherish every moment of my final season on GA with the fans who have made it all possible.”

There have been a lot of rumors that Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang might return to Grey’s Anatomy some day. Bustle shared about if Sandra will really come back or not. Some characters on this show have passed away, such as Patrick Dempsey’s character, Derek Shepherd. Cristina just moved out of the country, so it is understandable that fans would think she might come back at some point. The show has been renewed for Season 13, but there is no news that it is the last season. Sandra Oh shared that she might come back today, but only for a series finale.

“I told [Rhimes], ‘If you guys want to finish it out however you want to finish it out, I’d be more than happy to come back. And if it doesn’t fit in that way, I totally understand. I just want you to know that I’m available.'”

Don’t get too excited at the idea of Sandra Oh coming back yet, though. For now Grey’s Anatomy could be around a few more seasons and she hasn’t actually confirmed that she will be coming back at all. Hopefully, they will confirm Sandra is returning when they announce the series finale. Fans hope that there are a few more seasons coming.
