‘Teen Mom’ Producer Fires Back After Jenelle Evans Accused MTV Of Falsely Editing Show

Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has been very vocal lately about her dislike for MTV and the producers behind the successful Teen Mom franchise. This Teen Mom star is following in Farrah Abraham’s footsteps, as she’s the next one to slam the franchise and she’s now threatening to quit the show that made her famous. Why? Because she’s not happy with the way she’s been portrayed on Teen Mom over the past couple of episodes.

While Farrah just wanted more freedom in filming other shows, Evans is upset that her storyline seems to be so negative all the time. She claims that the producers are cutting out all of the positive things that are happening in her life.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is now facing some honest reactions from a long-time producer with the show. Morgan J. Freeman, who has been a producer of the MTV series for years, is now speaking out about the accusations. Freeman is also a friend of all the Teen Mom stars, so it’s surprising that Morgan is now speaking out about these accusations. Morgan never usually addresses the drama between the Teen Mom stars, but it sounds like he wants people to know that Jenelle’s accusations are unfounded.

“There is a HUGE difference between documenting and promoting,” Morgan reveals on Twitter about the Teen Mom drama, revealing that they document the lives of these girls, don’t push their own ideas onto them, and don’t promote opinions to change the content of the show.

“Sometimes having more eyes on a situation is inherently safer than none. Do your homework,” he continues, adding, “You are the eyes. This is the process. We document what is happening. We are not parents. We are not police. We do open up powerful discourse about many many things. That is good.”

Of course, the Teen Mom producers don’t step in when things get to be too much for the girls. For example, Evans’ drug use has been shown on Teen Mom, and she’s constantly caught yelling at her mother over the phone — right in front of her children.

“I’m pretty convinced @MTV constantly wants to make me look like the most horrible mother ever,” Jenelle Evans has revealed, according to Us Weekly. “Doesn’t show a damn positive thing for my story.”

And Evans claims that the Teen Mom director is not on her side at all. She feels that they want to show the viewers her negative story in hopes to drive up the ratings for Teen Mom.

“And this season and this upcoming ones were suppose to be really nice and smooth towards the end but of course if @MTV hires a director that judges you, hates you, and wants to make you look out to be bad… They will do it,” the Teen Mom star continued, adding, “They hold all power in the edit room.”

Evans wants MTV to focus on her custody battle on Teen Mom. She wants them to document the fact that she’s gotten an education, that she’s qualified to get a job, and that she’s working hard on getting custody back of her first-born son, Jace.

“You would think they would have shown by now how I’ve been trying to get Jace back for over a year, or how many great times we’ve had,” the Teen Mom star previously revealed on Twitter, according to Us Weekly.

What do you think of the Teen Mom producer speaking out about these accusations? Do you think Jenelle has a point, or do you think she just can’t own the fact that she made mistakes?
