Adriana Lima Diet: How The VS Model Stays Bikini Ready At All Times


Supermodel Adriana Lima has been showing off her assets in various bikinis for Victoria’s Secret, other lingerie brands, and for her own personal advantage. She slipped into some tiny bikinis for Calzedonia’s 2016 Swimsuit line.

The 34-year-old stunner was photographed wearing a tiny white crochet string bikini. In another photo, Lima poses in a white one-piece crochet swimsuit, which puts her famous curves on display. There are also some colorful swimsuits in the collection that Lima poses in, including a neon pink bikini with black trim and bright bandeau bikinis.

The model paired her hot bikini look with bronze eyeshadow, black mascara, and pink lipstick. Adriana’s signature dark brown hair is styled wet and tousled in most of the photos. It’s no secret that Adriana gets her bikini body with a strict diet and regular exercise. She even filmed herself squeezing in a workout before this year’s Met Gala.

According to the Mirror, the Russian beauty was seen performing twists with a medicine ball before she moved onto burpees and step-ups without missing a beat or taking a rest.

Lima showed off the results of her hard work once again on social media. She took to Instagram on Thursday, June 2 to share another bikini-clad photo. In the photo, Lima showed off her taut abs and ample chest in a color sequined bikini designed by Calzedonia.

The busy mom-of-two has also been seen working up a sweat on her Instagram page. She will often share her progress with her selfies and fitness videos. In addition to working out, Adriana has been traveling around the world on modeling assignments, including a recent trip to the 2016 Cannes Film Festival back in May when she co-chaired the amfAR Gala.

In addition, Lima has starred in 14 Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, is a spokesmodel for Maybelline Cosmetics, and Forbes said she’s one of the most highest-paid models in the world.

How does she stay in shape with her busy schedule?

When it comes to achieving her bikini bod, she says there’s no secret.

“I work out and I look after myself,” she said. “It’s my job.”

Back in 2014, Adriana spoke to Us Weekly, as reported via the Daily Mail, about how she stays in shape for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Adriana admitted that it does take a little work since her body has changed after childbirth.

“Since we are filming a television special that is going to air in over 181 countries—we’re not wearing that much, there’s a lot of skin—you have to pay more attention to your body. I love to work out, but I won’t hit the gym like every day [like I do to prep for the show]! My body has changed a lot since I gave birth—it happens, I work out and I look after myself. I take this seriously because it’s my job. I want to feel comfortable!”

Lima rapidly lost the post-baby weight due to her low-carb Paleo diet and boxing works, according to Celebrity Health Fitness. She has been training with former boxer Michael Olajide since 2000. Not only is Lima’s Paleo diet low in carbs, but it’s also low in sugar.

Her diet includes eating grilled chicken and other meats and snacking on low-sugar fruits such as blueberries and blackberries. Adriana also drinks coconut water throughout the day.

The model recently told Page Six at the Fragrance Foundation Awards that she would like to get into acting now that she’s achieved success in the modeling world.

“I’m just waiting for someone to see me. I’m like, ‘Hello, I’m here.’ My dream role is with Quentin Tarantino, fingers crossed. I haven’t had a chance to tell him that directly.”

But Lima wouldn’t completely rule out her sexy modeling shoots just yet.

“My plan is to be here as long as gravity lets me,” she joked.
