Taylor Swift’s most famous squad members are speaking out about Swift’s recent break-up with Calvin Harris.
Both Fifth Harmony star Camila Cabello and country singer Kelsea Ballerini revealed just how Taylor is doing in the wake of her most recent break-up while attending the 2016 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 8, where both stars appeared to reveal that Swift is doing okay despite calling it quits with her boyfriend of more than a year.
Camila was quizzed about how Taylor was coping after it was announced that she and Calvin had officially ended their relationship earlier this month, to which Cabello revealed on the red carpet at the country music award show that Swift was “good” and had been enjoying some time at home with her family despite her recent romantic turmoil.
“She’s good,” Cabello told E! News, hinting that she’s spoken to Swift since Harris confirmed their break-up on social media on June 2.
“She was just in Nashville,” the Fifth Harmony star added, appearing to confirm reports suggesting that Taylor had been spending some time at her family home in recent days.
Kelsea Ballerini also spoke out at the country award show about how Taylor has been doing following her split, where she described Swift as being a “strong chick.”
“She’s incredible,” Kelsea told Entertainment Tonight of her friend, who she joined on stage for a duet during Swift’s 1989 Tour back in September and was also spotted enjoying some quality time with her in Los Angeles just weeks ago.
Although Ballerini didn’t reveal if she’s spoken to or seen Taylor since she and Calvin called it quits after 15 months together, Kelsea did tell the site on the CMT Awards red carpet that she’s “sure she’s fine” and admitted that she believes Taylor is “a strong chick.”
But it’s not just Kelsea and Camila who Taylor’s been leaning on since her split.
According to Hollywood Life, Swift has been turning to another famous member of her girl squad in recent days as Selena Gomez has allegedly been a “rock” for her close friend as she comes to terms with her break-up.
“Selena has been an absolute rock for Taylor since the split,” a source told Hollywood Life of how Gomez has stood by Swift’s side, noting that Gomez and Swift have been exchanging numerous messages and phone calls despite Selena’s busy schedule as she tours the world on her Revival tour.
“Despite her grueling schedule, Selena has been in constant communication with Taylor,” the insider continued, revealing that Gomez has “definitely been trying to keep [Taylor’s] spirits up by texting inspirational messages and calling whenever she can.”
The insider also told the site after the news broke that Taylor and Calvin had officially ended their relationship that Selena Gomez was actually the one encouraging Taylor to head home to Nashville in order to spend time with her family.
“Selena thinks it’s best that Taylor be close to home now in Nashville so she can get the support of her mother,” a source said of Gomez’s advice for Swift. “She also knows how much comfort and love her cats bring her.”
Taylor Swift is still yet to officially speak out about break up, only retweeting a message Calvin Harris tweeted out about their split on June 2, though People revealed that she’s been relying on her closest friends and family to help her through this “sad” time.
“Of course she’s sad about the breakup, but she’s leaning on her family and friends and looking forward,” a source close to Swift revealed earlier this week, adding that Taylor Swift will “be just fine.”
