Woman Arrested Four Times In 26 Hours For Playing Loud Music


Joyce Coffee just wouldn’t shut up.

The Associated Press reports that Coffee, a woman from New Hampshire, was arrested three times in 26 hours for playing music too loudly at her home and one time for throwing a frying pan. AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” was Coffee’s favorite song during her musical crime spree.

The Huffington Post reports that Coffee was issued a warning by police on Tuesday afternoon for playing loud music. They came back an hour later and arrested Coffee because she did not turn the music down. After returning home, Coffee blasted her music again. The police came back five hours later and one more time before dawn to place Coffey under arrest.

The final arrest came when Coffey’s nephew told police that she had thrown a frying pan at him when he tried to remove some of his belongings from the home.

Police believe that alcohol may have been a factor in all four incidents.

Coffey is currently being held on $10,000 bail. A judge, who in a written recommendation suggested that Coffey try using headphones, said that he Coffey could have her bail waived if she agreed ti enter an inpatient mental health evaluation program.
