Selena Gomez, Neymar Jr Dating: Justin Bieber ‘Standing In Way Of Potential Romance’

Selena Gomez’s recent outing with Justin Bieber’s friend and soccer player Neymar Jr. has led sources to believe that the singer is bound to find herself in conflicted situations for the fact that her ex-boyfriend constantly stands in the way of her finding love again.

During her time in New York, where she performed at the Barclays Center as part of her Revival Tour, Gomez found some free time to chill with a couple of her closest friends — one of them reportedly being Neymar Jr., 23.

A lot of rumors have been flying around as of late, claiming that the “Hands To Myself” singer could potentially see herself starting a relationship with the Brazilian soccer player, but considering the fact that he’s good friends with Justin Bieber, that probably won’t happen.

Gomez allegedly worries that she’ll find herself in these kinds of situations more often since Justin is friends with so many people in the industry — meaning that if she ever falls in love with somebody that is a pal of Justin’s, they can’t hook up for the simple fact that Bieber is standing in the way of things.

A source tells Hollywood Life, “Neymar definitely thinks Selena is stunning, but he wouldn’t break bro-code with Justin and try and date her.” As stated, while Neymar is said to be attracted to the 23-year-old, he couldn’t see himself going against Justin all for the sake of dating his ex-girlfriend; it just wouldn’t sit well with him.

“He’s really building up a great bond with Justin while he’s staying in LA, and the pair have become really close. They respect each other’s talents, and love hanging out and playing soccer or listening to music. But Neymar would never betray Justin and pursue anything with Selena. He’s just too good a friend.”

It is important to acknowledge the fact that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber broke up quite a long time ago, so the fact that the former Disney Channel star has to avoid any men that have something to do with her ex-boyfriend sounds rather extreme.

But sources say that the main reason why Selena wants to avoid dating any men who have some sort of friendship with Justin is simply down to the fact that she no longer wants to be reminded of someone she’s no longer with.

Back when the couple split, it was alleged that the “Company” singer was the one who decided to call it quits between the two, leaving Selena devastated. Later on, she realized that the breakup was good for the both of them, especially considering the fact that the twosome were breaking up and getting back together every other month.

The relationship couldn’t progress, and it took Selena a while to see that. Still, if she’s going to move on with her life, it’ll have to be with someone who is not affiliated with Justin Bieber in any way.

There’s no doubt that Gomez will probably be devastated by the fact that she won’t be able to form a relationship with Neymar, with sources already reporting that the soccer player is definitely attracted to her.

Is it fair to say that Justin Bieber takes the blame for this?
