Football fans can watch the Brazil vs. Haiti match live online and see if the five-time World Cup winners can avoid a massive upset in the 2016 Copa America.

The teams will meet Wednesday in Orlando, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. After being held to a scoreless tie against Ecuador, Brazil is looking for a win against what will likely be an overmatched Haitian squad.

Brazilian defender Marquinhos said his team will not be taking anything for granted and is looking to learn from the mistakes of their opening match.

“We had good ball possession versus Ecuador,” he told ESPNFC. “Ecuador’s controlled defense gave us problems in our counter-attacks. We had a few goal-scoring opportunities that were wasted, we can’t let that happen with Haiti. We need to respect our opponent and know that nothing is given to us just because we are Brazil. We need to perform and we need to earn all the points we get.”

While they are expected to win on Wednesday, Brazil could have a more difficult time in the 2016 Copa America as they will be without Neymar, who is sitting out the annual tournament to prepare for the Rio Olympics in August.

But fans who watch the Brazil vs. Haiti football match live online will see a lot more at stake for Haiti. If they lose on Thursday, the team will be eliminated from advancing to the next round. With another difficult match ahead against Ecuador, they will likely need to pull off an upset on Thursday in order to have any hope of advancing.

It would be an upset, but perhaps not a gigantic one. As the Washington Post noted, the teams are actually closer in the tournament than they appear.

“At first glance there is seemingly little to tie these two teams together. Brazil, soccer royalty, has won the World Cup a record five times; Haiti, soccer nobody, has qualified for the tournament just once, in 1974, and didn’t advance out of the first round. Brazil, even so severely shorthanded, brings with it players from Barcelona, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan; Haiti started a midfielder who plays in France’s predominantly amateur fifth tier in its opener and, after an injury, replaced him with one from the North American Soccer League.

“But Brazil and Haiti should, at least, be tied in these standings: A 66th-minute blunder by Brazilian keeper Alisson would have given Ecuador a lead Saturday in their eventual scoreless draw, only to have it canceled out by an incorrect out-of-bounds call.”

Haiti has pulled off surprises before, the report noted, including a surprise run to the knockout round of last year’s Gold Cup thanks to the heroics of striker Duckens Nazon.

They will face a more difficult task on Wednesday. After Haiti’s gut-punch 1-0 loss to Peru, they had to board a cross-country flight from Seattle to Orlando to face the tournament’s favorite.

It’s not weighing too heavily on the Haitian players, including Pascal Millien, who has a local presence as a member of the Jacksonville Armada of the North American Soccer League.

“For us, we see the country first,” he told the New York Times. “We hear the money the U.S. players are making, the Brazil players are making.”

“But we do it for the love and for the country, for the game we love,” he added. “God blesses us by letting us play this game, and we give the country something back.”
