‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Franco And Liz Romance Heats Up, Jake’s Past With Helena Cassadine Could Finally Be Revealed

There is a possible upcoming romance that seems to be blooming on ABC’s General Hospital. While some may not think that the pairing of Elizabeth Webber and Franco Baldwin is a good idea, most fans are ready to see this happen. The chemistry between them seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. This is also expected to affect little Jake Webber, as he has found a friend in Franco, which may end up leading into the backstory of what happened on Cassadine Island.

Franco has befriended Jake during their art therapy to help the boy recover from his trauma of being away from his family for so long, thanks to Helena Cassadine. She took Jake to the island to live with her, leaving Elizabeth to believe that he died in a car accident. Now it looks like the truth may just be coming to the forefront soon, as hinted by Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

It sounds like an adventure is coming up that leads directly to Cassadine Island where Jake spent much of his life. Is this now where Nikolas has been hiding out after what looks to be him faking his own death? It would be really creepy if his grandmother, Helena, also faked her own death and they are both holed up there in the creepy castle waiting for some visitors to appear.

The General Hospital spoilers indicate that something big is about to be revealed about the time that Jake spent there with Helena. Franco will be the one who Jake will confide in about his memories that he has of his life before he came back to Port Charles.

Of course, this is all leading up to the apparent romance between Franco and Liz that looks like is about to happen soon. They are becoming closer than ever and sparks are starting to fly between them. They are an unlikely pair for sure, but this is where the writers have decided to take it, at least for the time being.

It seems that many others on General Hospital are on a quest to discover things about their past dealings with the Cassadine family. Jason and Sam are out on their own adventure trying to find out exactly what happened to Nik. Jason has a warrant out for his arrest, but he is determined to discover the truth.

Laura Spencer is also trying to find out what Helena meant with the clue that was left to her. She has enlisted the help of Kevin Collins to figure out this mysterious blast from her past. Some interesting upcoming General Hospital spoilers that have been posted on Soaps She Knows says that Laura, and her daughter Lulu, will have their lives changed because of an unexpected twist that happens. Does this have anything to do with Stavros Cassadine? Celebrity Dirty Laundry mentioned that Jake reveals that there was a woman and a child that he spent some time with in addition to Helena. This is quite interesting and could intertwine Lulu and Laura into this whole scenario.

Let’s not forget about Nik’s wife Hayden, aka Rachel, who seems to be in the middle of her husband’s disappearance. It may be that Nikolas was trying to frame her for his supposed murder. Now that her mother has arrived in Port Charles, more secrets are bound to be revealed about her past, which could also affect others as well.

In fact, the General Hospital spoilers almost made it sound like there could be a connection between quite a few characters. Hayden, her mother, Jake, Liz, Lulu, and Laura could all have secrets revealed that may lead back to Helena Cassadine. It had been recently rumored that Liz and Hayden could actually be sisters as Naomi is revealed as Elizabeth’s mother.
