‘Teen Mom 2’ Finale — Jenelle Evans Out For Season 8? Claims She Is ‘Rethinking Ever Letting My Life Be Filmed Again’

Jenelle Evans continues to express her disapproval with how MTV edits her story on Teen Mom 2.

In her latest round of comments, Evans hinted that Season 7 might be her last.

Us Magazine reports that Teen Mom 2 just wrapped up its latest season this week. Shortly after the Season 7 finale, Evans took to Twitter to share just how disgusted she is with the series.

“Not watching again. Highly disappointed and only caught a glimpse for 5 secs,” Evans wrote. “Rethinking ever letting my life be filmed again.”

The finale featured Evans getting into a fight with her mother, Barbara Evans, over the custody of her oldest son, Jace.

As fans will recall, Evans gave up custody to her mother back in 2010. Ever since Evans turned her life around, she has been working hard to regain full custody.

According to the Stir, things came to head when Evans refused to accommodate her mother and drive her son to meet her. In fact, the two engaged in a screaming match before Barbara threatened her daughter.

“It’ll be a long time in hell before he [Jace] goes to your house again,” she stated.

Of course, Evans hit back by pointing out how ridiculous their situation is now that she is no longer on drugs.

“I have to go to court with my own mother to get my son back when I’m not on drugs and I’m clean as a whistle!” she screamed.

Evans then opened up to her son about why she shared custody with her mother. In a heartbreaking moment of honesty, Evans told Jace what went down in 2010.

“A long time ago when you were a baby, the judge told me and Meme, since I didn’t have a house for me and you to live in, that you had to stay with Meme,” she told him. “So, now I have to take Meme back to court to ask the judge if I can have you back.”

Evans has had a rocky past over the years, all of which was fully documented by the Teen Mom 2 cameras. This includes a series of bad relationships, drug addiction, and problems with the law.

Despite her troubled past, Evans is adamant that Teen Mom 2 has failed to show fans how much she has improved in the last year. Instead of focusing on her comeback, the series has continued to highlight negative aspects of her life.

“I’m pretty convinced @MTV constantly wants to make me look like the most horrible mother ever,” Evans stated. “Doesn’t show a damn positive thing for my story.”

Considering everything she has changed in her life, Evans is very disappointed with how the show portrays her as a mother.

“And this season and this upcoming one were suppose to be really nice and smooth towards the end but of course if @MTV hires a director that judges you, hates you, and wants to make you look out to be bad… They will do it,” Evans revealed. “They hold all power in the edit room.”

Evans went on to reveal that she has been locked in a custody battle for over a year now. Given her level of disappointment, she also admitted to the possibility of starting her own reality show.

Clearly, Evans is more than tired of how the show is portraying her life. Considering her constant rambles on social media, it does not appear likely that Evans will return for another year of the hit reality drama.

That being said, Evans has not officially announced her exit from the show. The new season of Teen Mom 2 is expected to premiere sometime next year.
