Brandi Redmond decided to go on The Real Housewives of Dallas because she thought it could be a fun adventure to try out. This former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader is living in Dallas with her husband and two children, and she thought it would be fun to film the show with her friend, Stephanie Hollman. But despite the season only being 10 episodes long, her marriage troubles quickly became the focus of her storyline. Brandi’s husband, Bryan Redmond, is traveling quite a bit, and when he was finally home, Redmond felt that her husband wasn’t really paying attention to her or giving her what she needed from him.
According to a new Bravo report, Brandi Redmond told PEOPLE magazine that viewers of the show and strangers are starting to judge him when they see him out in public. When Brandi went out to dinner at a restaurant with her husband and children, strangers supposedly came up to them and called him an “a**hole” in front the children. And this has been a hard adjustment for Brandi and her husband, as he doesn’t seem too happy about filming The Real Housewives of Dallas.
“It’s hard on him,” Brandi said. “I mean, we’ve been out to eat and people literally come up and call him an [a**hole]! In front of our little girls!”
Bryan has since apologized to his wife about how he was acting while filming on The Real Housewives of Dallas. On the show, he was being very distant and Brandi Redmond has said that she just wanted her husband to communicate with her. She really needed him to be a support system for her, as she was going through quite the emotional time. At the time, Brandi was trying to mend her relationship with her grandfather, as they hadn’t had a relationship for years. It sounds like he’s now regretting the way he acted.
“He’s been struggling with it but we know at the end of the day that it’s the way he handled something and he agrees that it was wrong,” Brandi Redmond revealed, sharing, “I think as long as we are willing to forgive and try to forget after this is all over with, then we can just move forward.”
Since watching The Real Housewives of Dallas aired, Brandi Redmond says that her husband is truly trying to change. She reveals that he’s showing her and their children how much he loves them and she calls him an amazing father and an amazing provider. Plus, Brandi Redmond reveals that fans don’t see everything that’s going on in her marriage.
“I think that’s what the viewers don’t get to see – they don’t get to see that side of him, that side that makes me laugh,” she said. “He really is so kind and so genuine and we all make mistakes, we all go through things, and I think if anything this taught us more about each other.”

When asked on Twitter, Redmond reveals that she isn’t sure about returning to The Real Housewives of Dallas. She doesn’t regret going on the show and exposing her marriage issues, as she’s working on her marriage, but she could be thinking twice about going back on the show. When she was asked about returning, she revealed that contracts had not been presented to the ladies.
“I’m proud of what was captured in our journey. I think that it made us authentic, and I think it’s encouraging for other people to see that not everybody’s perfect and we all have ups and downs,” Redmond said, revealing, “And at the end of the day, I’m such a fighter – I’ll fight for my family, my marriage and my friendships.”
