One Direction: Harry Styles’ London Home Attacked By Vandals

One Direction star Harry Styles is sadly used to being attacked in some sections of the media. Styles is frequently painted as a serial womanizer and has been branded disloyal after sacking One Direction’s management team back in January. Poor Harry is seen as public property by some sections of the media and has even had to take out an injunction in an attempt to stop the paparazzi from camping out on the doorstep of his London home.

As many will point out, Styles is a high-profile celebrity, and interest in him is high. Harry must sometimes feel that the loss of his privacy is a high price to pay for the commercial success he has enjoyed with One Direction. Styles will recognize that his celebrity lifestyle is constant fodder for the gossip columns, but 22-year-old Harry must be outraged that vandals have attacked his home with extremely offensive graffiti.

According to the Daily Mail, pictures have emerged today showing that Harry’s luxury north London home has been attacked by mindless vandals who sprayed with the inflammatory and offensive “C” word across one of the exterior walls.

It is believed that Harry is still filming for his role in Christopher Nolan’s movie Dunkirk, so it is not clear whether or not Styles has seen the damage. Hopefully, it will be repaired before he has to confront it.

One Direction fans are quick to show their support for Styles or any member of the band when they see people being less than kind. Many of Harry’s fans took to Twitter to show their disgust at those who attacked Styles home.

One fan spoke for many when she said that the attack on Styles home was “disrespectful” and asked, “[W]hat did Harry do to deserve this?”

The Sun points out that Harry’s home has been under siege by both fans and the paparazzi as interest soars over the young stars movie role and the future of One Direction.

According to the Evening Standard, speculation over the future of One Direction is again at fever pitch after comments made by Simon Cowell. Speaking about a possible appearance for One Direction and Fifth Harmony on America’s Got Talent, Cowell seemed to hint that Styles and the boys may not reform as early as everyone hopes.

“We’ll have Fifth Harmony definitely this year because they’ve got an album coming out. It will be fantastic to have them on the show.

“One Direction I don’t think we’ll see for a while now, if I’m being honest with you. But the girls, definitely.”

Cowell’s comments will be worrying for One Direction fans who are hoping that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan will reunite in around 12 months time as they have repeatedly promised their fans. Of course, a cynic might suggest that it is in Cowell’s interests to keep the media gossiping about Styles and his bandmates. With One Direction on hiatus, it might be argued that dropping hints calculated to keep interest in the band high is of benefit to Cowell as much as to Harry and his pals.

It is interesting to note that Cowell’s other huge band, 5 Seconds of Summer, are on a massive world tour and yet they garner nothing like the attention lavished on Styles and One Direction in the media. This must be of huge concern to their management team.

Finally, it is being widely reported that Niall Horan may be set to beat Styles in the race to release solo material. If those claims prove to be correct, many of Harry’s fans will be surprised as it was widely claimed that Styles would be the first of the current One Direction lineup to drop new music.
