‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Cares For Adalynn After Slamming Jeremy Calvert’s Parenting During The Reunion

Leah Messer is making sure fans know her youngest daughter, Adalynn, is cared for regardless of the involvement of her father, Jeremy Calvert.

After calling out Calvert on the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 finale on Monday night, Leah Messer took to Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself and her daughter and told fans she was caring for her sick children.

“My baby was sick last night, Addie was sick yesterday! This 24 hour bug needs to go away quickly. I don’t like my babies not feeling good! I do however LOVE the fact I got to cuddle this one BECAUSE it doesn’t happen very often!” Leah Messer wrote on Instagram on June 7.

Two days prior, Leah Messer spoke of her love for Adalynn in a separate post, which included a photo of herself and the 3-year-old.

“My love for this little girl continues to grow every day!” Leah Messer told fans on June 5. “She has such a beautiful energetic warm loving comforting soul! I swear this kid will be an actress some day. Then again she hits me with the motorcycle sounds and I do believe she gets that from her daddy! She is my world, and I would be lost without her!”

The following day, during the finale episode, Leah Messer told her sister that her ex-husband has been spending tons of time with the daughter of his girlfriend, Brooke Wehr, while their daughter has been treated unfairly. Leah Messer was so upset about Calvert’s alleged mistreatment of the child that she said she was heartbroken.

Because Calvert has always appeared to be a great dad on the show, despite his hectic work schedule, Leah Messer’s comments came as a surprise to many. When the show returns next week for the reunion episode, fans are in for even more shocking comments.

While chatting with Dr. Drew Pinksy during filming in April, Leah Messer admitted that she had just recently gotten over Calvert, who announced plans for divorce in late 2014.

“It was painful. I think it was painful because I, for once, got to not just say how I feel in an unhealthy place but say how I feel in a healthy place,” Leah Messer recalled of their filmed dinner date. “At that time, I did still love Jeremy. I did. I mean, I’m over it. I’m completely over it, but that just recently happened. I’ve just recently excepted I don’t think Jeremy and I are good together.”

Leah Messer went on to take aim at Calvert’s parenting choices once again, telling the host, “I don’t know what’s wrong with him right now. I have full custody of Addie. He was doing great but he just moved in with his girlfriend to Ohio.”

“Is it hard to get him involved in Addie’s life?” Dr. Drew asked.

“Yea,” she replied.

Leah Messer married Jeremy Calvert in April 2012, and less than one year later, their daughter, Adalynn, was born. Then, in late 2014, Calvert took to Twitter, announcing he planned to divorce Leah Messer after catching her cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd (she cheated on her first husband, Corey Simms, with the same man just days before they wed).
