Marine Wife Brittany Killgore Killed For Refusing Bondage Sex Session

According to investigators, Brittany Killgore, the wife of a Marine stationed in Afghanistan, was killed because she refused to take part in a sadomasochistic bondage session.

Newly unsealed court documents show that Killgore was apparently targeted by a friend, Staff Sgt. Louis Perez, to participate in a bondage session. Court documents show that investigators called her an “unwilling participant” in Perez’s sexual habits that included bondage, cutting and restraint, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Killgore had filed for divorce from her Marine husband prior to her disappearance. Since Cory Killgore was in Afghanistan at the time of her death, he was not treated as a suspect. Killgore the wife was last seen on April 13th after she agreed to go on a dinner cruise with Perez. He had apparently “boasted” to his bondage community that he was planning a BDSM session for the weekend of April 14th, and investigators believe that he killed Brittany Killgore over her refusal to participate.

Perez was charged, along with 37-year-old Dorothy Marie Maraglino and 25-year-old Jessica Lopez, with murder, torture, and conspiracy connected to Killgore’s death. They have all pleaded not guilty. Killgore’s body was found on April 17th near a Southern California lake. Reports say that she was nude and had been strangled. Her body bore injuries on her wrist and leg, consistent with someone using a tool in an attempt to dismember her.

All three of the suspects in Brittany Killgore’s murder had previously held a woman hostage in a house until she cooperated with their bondage demands, according to earlier court documents.
