Kailyn Lowry Switching Teams Following Javi Marroquin Split? ‘Teen Mom’ Star Caught Kissing Another Woman

Kailyn Lowry announced her split from Javi Marroquin just last month and is already making big changes.

Daily Mail reports the Teen Mom 2 star was recently spotted kissing one of her girlfriends at a gay pride event in New Jersey over the weekend. Is Lowry switching teams now that Marroquin is out of the picture?

Lowry shared a few photos on social media of her and Becky Hater getting up close and personal. The two women exchanged smooches during the LGBTI Pride Celebration this past Sunday.

The images were quickly deleted, though Lowry did upload a photo of her and Hater hugging on Instagram.

“Girlfriend status,” she captioned the image.

Lowry wore a revealing spaghetti string top and tiny white shorts for the event.

Hater donned a pair of khaki pants and patterned button up. She topped off her look with a camo cap.

The photos from the gay pride event were only the tip of the iceberg.

Apparently, the two women flirted with each other all afternoon and were seen holding hands through the festival.

It is unclear if Lowry and Hater are currently dating each other or just really good friends. This is not, however, the first time Lowry has fallen for a girl.

When she was in middle school, Lowry and another girl hooked up while she was dating her first boyfriend Jo Rivera.

“Kail was with a girl named Shelby for about two years,” an insider revealed to Radar Online. “Jo [Rivera] knew about Kail’s relationship with that girl. He thought it was a phase.”

She was later linked to Gigi Hanna, another longtime friend.

“Kail cheated on Jo with Gigi, but he knew and didn’t care,” the source continued.

For his part, Marroquin is currently deployed and serving overseas in the Air Force. Lowry and Marroquin married each other back in 2013 but called it quits after years of struggling to get along.

The couple has one child together, Lincoln, while Kailyn Lowry has another son, Isaac, with Rivera.

Although it isn’t that shocking that Lowry would turn to a woman for comfort, the timing of her decision is what makes it scandalous. After all, Lowry confirmed her divorce with Marroquin only a few weeks ago.

The true reasons behind their divorce were revealed during the Season 7 finale of Teen Mom 2.

Early in the episode, Lowry opened up about her marital problems to an old friend. According to Us Magazine, she all but confirmed that her refusal to have kids is at the core of their problems.

“Javi and I have not been good for two freakin’ years, why on God’s green earth would I bring another child into that?” Lowry shared. “He says if I’m not gonna have any more kids, he can’t stay with me.”

Marroquin decided enough was enough after failed attempts to communicate with Lowry.

“We texted, and we talked about our future,” Marroquin stated during the episode. “There is no future. That’s a big reason why we’re not going to work. Your excuse is b******t.”

Marroquin then asked if Lowry could start getting the divorce papers in order and she seemed more than willing to start the process.

As far as their children are concerned, Lowry remained adamant that she wants to keep their best interest in mind and doesn’t want them in a dysfunctional relationship.

“Isaac calls him ‘Dad,’ so, like, that’s really freakin’ hard,” Lowry explained. “But I want my kids to see a healthy, solid relationship, or not.”

Based on her recent interactions with Hater, it looks like Lowry is already moving on.
