Is Lisa Vanderpump Quitting ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’?

Lisa Vanderpump recently shared an odd tweet in regard to her future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Following news of the possible exits of Kathryn Edwards and Yolanda Foster, Lisa Vanderpump reacted to a fan comment about the Season 7 cast.

As soon as the post was shared, many believed Lisa Vanderpump had denied reports of Foster’s firing, but after being questioned more about the situation, she confirmed she was only referring to her own fate. But does that mean she will not be returning?

Because the initial tweet suggested Lisa Vanderpump had signed on to appear on the show, which she denied, some wondered whether she was insinuating that she was planning to quit the series, but as she eventually added, no decisions have been made in regard to the Season 7 cast.

Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards are the only remaining full-time original housewives of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Along with Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Taylor Armstrong, and Richards’ older sister, Kim, Vanderpump and Richards made up the cast of Season 1, but as the seasons continued, many casting changes were made, including the exits of Grammer, Maloof, and Armstrong, and the additions of Yolanda Foster, Lisa Rinna, and Eileen Davidson.

Throughout her years on the show, Lisa Vanderpump has been linked to rumors of her possible exit, starting with a claim in 2013 that she was unhappy filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to the ongoing drama with her co-stars.

“Everything has fallen apart for [Lisa Vanderpump],” a source close to the situation told Radar Online at the time. “She used to be friends with everyone and she was the most popular woman in the zip code, but now things have completely changed. She’s miserable.”

“Lisa isn’t getting along with her former best friend [Brandi Glanville] and both Richards sisters hate her now,” the source revealed. “She doesn’t have any friends left on the show and as a result, she wants off. She’s spoken to producers and has been telling them that she’s done with the franchise.”

Following the report, Lisa Vanderpump mended her relationship with Kyle Richards and her former friend, Glanville, was demoted from the series.

While Lisa Vanderpump ultimately returned to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, rumors of her possible exit returned ahead of filming on Season 6, at which point she told press she was quite busy.

“I have a lot of things going on right now, but I have always been a business woman,” Lisa Vanderpump explained to Radar Online in June, 2015. “I am also right in the middle of filming Vanderpump Rules which takes up quite a lot of my time at Sur. It is all positive and it also gives me a platform to support the causes that I am passionate about. GLAAD being one of them.”

In addition to Lisa Vanderpump’s statements to the outlet, a source claimed the businesswoman didn’t have time for the added drama of the Bravo series, but again, when production resumed, she returned in a full-time role.

Although Lisa Vanderpump’s future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills remains uncertain, Bravo confirmed earlier this year that the hit series would be returning to television in late 2016.
