Blake Shelton Responds To Baby Rumors, Shows Gwen Stefani Social Media Love & Reveals Next Single

Blake Shelton got really chatty on Twitter Sunday night, and the “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” singer was in a silly mood as he spent about an hour interacting with his Twitter followers. Amidst cracking jokes about going to jail and drinking too much rice wine, Blake shared a few tweets about Gwen Stefani, including one that addresses persistent rumors that he and the “Misery” singer are getting married and starting a family together.

When one of Blake Shelton’s fans proposed to him via Twitter, Blake responded by revealing that he’s already taken. However, he was clearly joking when he tweeted that he’s already a husband and father.

“Oh haven’t you seen the tabloids? I think I’m already married with twins,” Blake wrote.

In January, Gossip Cop debunked a tabloid rumor that Gwen Stefani was pregnant with twins and shopping for a wedding dress. Reps for both Gwen and Blake shot down the shotgun wedding claim.

“Neither are true,” Blake’s rep said.

As The Inquisitr previously reported, the latest erroneous tabloid rumor about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton doesn’t involve babies or weddings; it involves Gwen’s social media usage. In Touch Weekly recently claimed that Blake asked Gwen to stop using social media to share the Shefani love story with their fans, but a few of the tweets from Blake’s Sunday night Twitter spree are evidence that this likely isn’t true. The “Came Here to Forget” singer certainly didn’t mind when his followers started tweeting him about Gwen. Blake acknowledged one Shefani fan’s tweet about a restaurant called “Gwen’s Cafe,” and he really seemed to like another follower’s collection of Gwen Stefani photos.

During his short tweeting session, Blake Shelton revealed that the next single from If I’m Honest will not be one of the many songs on the album that are about his relationship with Gwen Stefani. Instead, he’s chosen the bitter breakup anthem “She’s Got a Way With Words.”

“I am soooooooo excited about it!!!!!” Blake tweeted.

As Saving County Music reports, “She’s Got a Way With Words” has stirred up quite a bit of controversy. The harsh lyrics paint an ex in an unflattering light, and there’s speculation that fans are meant to think that Miranda Lambert is the subject of the song.

“She put the S.O.B. in sober / She put the hang in hangover / She put the ex in sex / She put the low in blow / She put a big F.U. in my future,” the lyrics read.

However, Blake Shelton didn’t pen “She’s Got A Way With Words,” and he told Country Countdown USA that the song was actually written before his divorce from Miranda Lambert. He described it as a “tongue-in-cheek” tune.

Fans can look forward to seeing an official music video for “She’s Got a Way With Words” in the near future, and its symbolic setting might raise a few eyebrows. There was some speculation that Blake shot the video in the building that used to be Miranda Lambert’s Pink Pistol boutique after Blake purchased the Tishomingo, Oklahoma, property from his ex-wife. A few of Blake’s buses were photographed in front of the building on June 1, but the Durant Democrat is reporting that Blake actually filmed his latest music video a few doors down in another building that he owns.

For the video, Blake transformed the property into a fictional bar called “The Red Rifle,” which just might be his idea of what a masculine version of “The Pink Pistol” would look like. The photo below was likely taken on the set of the music video.

There’s no word on when Blake Shelton’s music video for “She’s Got A Way With Words” will premiere, but fans can look forward to watching Blake and the Oak Ridge Boys perform “Doin’ It to a Country Song” at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday, June 8. The show airs at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.
