Kris Jenner Defends Lamar Odom, Insists He Needs The Family, Khloe Kardashian Explodes With Stinging Response

Kris Jenner has always had a soft spot for Lamar Odom, and a clip from the next episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians only proves exactly how she feels about her soon-to-be ex-son-in-law. By now, everyone has probably heard the latest about Lamar. Unfortunately, it seems he’s relapsed already because crack pipes were reportedly found in his home.

The disturbing discovery was made just days after Khloe Kardashian’s second divorce filing was made public. But, while Khloe attempts to separate herself from Lamar, her mother Kris Jenner believes the family should do the opposite. according to E! Online.

In the new clip, Kris Jenner and Khloe get into a heated debate over Lamar Odom. While Khloe feels it’s time to walk away, Kris believes the family should embrace him. Needless to say, Kris’ opinion definitely didn’t sit well with Khloe. She was absolutely ticked about the idea of further embracing Lamar since he reportedly refuses to seek help. She also reminded her mom that she and Lamar are no longer together. So, technically he isn’t her responsibility at this point.

“I think Lamar needs us as a family,” Kris tells Khloe.

“Lamar and I are not together!” Khloe replies.

A frustrated Khloe even asked her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, “Why is mom so on his side and never really mine?” Here’s the new clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians:

For those who don’t know, this isn’t the first time Kris Jenner has defended Lamar Odom despite his infidelity, disappearing acts, substance abuse, and alcoholism. Kris has always had faith that Lamar would eventually turn his life around, but unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that will be happening anytime soon.

The latest reports follow a string of reports about Lamar Odom’s relapse. Although this is reportedly his first relapse since his medical scare back in October, this isn’t the first time he’s vowed to change his life, but reverted back. According to TMZ, a friend visited Lamar for an intervention only to find crack pipes in his home. While the rumors about his current drug usage have yet to be confirmed or denied, the findings have raised speculation about his alleged drug usage. However, that’s not all. Lamar was also spotted purchasing sexual enhancement drugs at a convenience store before going on a date with a mystery woman.

Although Kris Jenner would like for Khloe and Lamar to reconcile, his actions lead fans and media outlets to believe he wants to be single. In fact, an insider previously revealed how Lamar felt about Khloe monitoring him after he was released from the hospital, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Like Kris Jenner, Khloe only had Lamar’s best interest at heart, but he wasn’t too pleased with her tactics. During an interview, the insider gave Lamar’s take on the scrutiny he’s reportedly received since his release from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center back in January.

“Lamar’s over it! He can’t stand the fact Khloe’s trying to control his life. He’s over all the judgement and scrutiny,” an insider said. “He feels he and Khloe could use some space and time apart. He also wants to live his life freely and do as he chooses without being followed around like a hawk 24-7,” the insider continued.

But, despite Kris’ stance, an insider has revealed the rest of the family is quite supportive of Khloe Kardashian’s decision to finally walk away from Lamar. “Everyone in her family is happy that she is moving on. She has all the support possible.”
