Renée Zellweger Reveals Why She Stayed Away From Hollywood For Six Years

Renée Zellweger has been gone for a long time from Hollywood, but now she is back again for a new movie. Fans of Renée Zellweger have been wondering what she has been up to, and now she is sharing the details about where she has been the last few years. E! Online shared what Renée Zellweger had to say about it all. Now, six years later, Renee is on the cover of British Vogue’s July issue. It is great to see her back in the spotlight once again.

My Own Love Song was released in 2010 and after this movie, she pretty much disappeared. Renée Zellweger said that she was trying to live a normal life. It was time for Renee to get a break from the spotlight. She explained the details.

“As a creative person, saying no to that wonderful once-in-a-lifetime project is hard. But I was fatigued and wasn’t taking the time I needed to recover between projects, and it caught up with me. I got sick of the sound of my own voice: it was time to go away and grow up a bit.”

Renee Zellweger went on to explain that this time away was really good for her. She didn’t just let life go by and found herself again. Renee shared the details.

“I found anonymity, so I could have exchanges with people on a human level and be seen and heard, not be defined by this image that precedes me when I walk into a room. You cannot be a good storyteller if you don’t have life experiences, and you can’t relate to people.”

Bridget Jones’s Baby will be coming out this fall, and viewers will finally get to see Renee Zellweger back on the big screen again. Renee admits that in the past when she did these movies, everyone talked about how she gained weight and then lost it again after the movie. Of course, this had to happen once again for her. Renee doesn’t seem the big deal about it, though.

“I put on a few pounds. I also put on some breasts and a baby bump. Bridget is a perfectly normal weight and I’ve never understood why it matters so much. No male actor would get such scrutiny if he did the same thing for a role.”

On this new movie, Renee Zellweger will be back again in the role of Bridget Jones. Fans are excited to see her like this, and can’t wait for this movie to come out later this fall. Hopefully, Renee Zellweger is back into acting again after her big break from Hollywood.
