‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin Were ‘Secretly Separated’ Months Before Divorce Announcement

Teen Mom 2 couple Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are getting divorced, and according to a new report, they have been separated for much longer than fans were led to believe.

Although Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin did their best to shut down the ongoing rumors regarding their relationship for months leading up to her May 24 confirmation of divorce, a source has since confirmed the mother of two and her husband actually parted ways several months ago.

“Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin just confirmed their divorce — but apparently they’ve been separated in secret for months!” Radar Online told readers on June 3.

“They’ve been unhealthy for a while, and [Kailyn Lowry] knew divorce was inevitable,” an insider close to the estranged couple told Us Weekly last week. “There was always a disconnect.”

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin got married in 2012 before Marroquin traveled out of town for Air Force training. Then, in September 2013, they celebrated their marriage with a much larger ceremony in Camden, New Jersey.

As for the ongoing rumors regarding infidelity on both sides, the source added that Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have been “separated since December,” so if either had hooked up with someone else, “it wouldn’t really be cheating.”

“The bottom line is they were two strong personalities who both want to be in control living together. They clashed,” the source added.

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin haven’t said much about their split, but during the currently airing episodes of Teen Mom 2 Season 7, fans have seen the end of their relationship.

Most recently, fans watched a sneak peek that featured Lowry’s husband telling her they had no future after learning that she was not open to the idea of having more children.

After Kailyn Lowry was seen telling her husband that she felt their relationship was up in the air during a FaceTime conversation, he quickly fired back, telling her, “I don’t feel like anything is up in the air. I feel like everything is where it needs to be. We texted and we talked about our future. There is no future.”

“You don’t want to be with me because I don’t want to have more kids,” Kailyn Lowry told him in response.

“That’s a big reason why we’re not going to work… Your excuse is bulls**t,” Marroquin confirmed.

“The fact that it’s so f**king hard to have two kids by myself and go to school. Imagine if I have a third kid? I want to be working full time,” Kailyn Lowry continued.

However, just months prior, Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin were planning for another child, but sadly, after she became pregnant, she suffered a miscarriage.

Although there has been speculation regarding a possible reconciliation, it’s hard to say for sure what will happen in the future. On June 3, Kailyn Lowry shared the following tweet, which may have solidified her plans for a split.

Meanwhile, Marroquin has completely deleted his Twitter account but remains active on Instagram, where he regularly shows fitness photos and photos of his son, Lincoln, and his step-son, Isaac (Kailyn Lowry’s oldest son).
